mighty brave

“Good Job Brownie”…oops I mean, “Congratulations, Governor Greg Abbott,” two natural disasters two responses from two idiot men who had been sitting in the White House, the first oblivious to the world around him, the other just interested in HIS own world. Both having no idea of the suffering and sheer madness surrounding them, but both pretending that hopes and prayers would be the magic to make things better. 

Thanking the crowd, for coming out to see Trump stand on top of truck, wearing his USA hat which can be purchased for $40, reminding the Texans that if any body could handle a disaster it was those same Texans, Trump without any compassion, caring or conscience paraded around Texas as if HE solved the horrendous devastation of Hurricane Harvey. Hey Trump do you have any idea where Beaumont or Port Arthur Text are located. Hey Governor Greg Abbott, now that the cameras are not focused on you, have you done anything for the people living on the Southeast era part of your state. Hey Petroleum Industry, with all of your billions in profits, what exactly will you provide for relief toward the Texans living in your corporate cities?

Texans are strong people, they have pitched in, but in a state where health regulations, and lack of any other kind of industrial regulation runs rampant, there is only so much citizens can do. The citizens who suffered through Katrina have never been made whole, imagine what must be done for the fourth largest city in the US, and it’s surrounding municipalities. Hey Ted Cruz, of course money was needed for Hurricane Sandy, just as much is necessary for Hurricane Harvey, but guess what bud, on large influx of Federal money ain’t gonna fix the fact that infrastructure, health and safety have never been a concern by you and your feed the rich Republicans. Once again a once in a life time apocalyptic event happened (you ever wonder just how many recent once in a life time apocalyptic events have happened in our life times) politicians are getting their 15 minutes of feigned concern, and guess what America, nothing different will happen, and we will wonder with awe how the next once in a life time event just happened.  To my friends and strangers living in Texas, you all are mighty brave!

The Visit

All gussied up, dressed for a garden party, excitement on his face, her’s a dull non-expressive pouty face they pose for the cameras, waiting to fly off to a devastated city. He gives us a thumbs up, Tweeting right before their travels, how exciting, lots of rain and oh yeah, next, Missouri where they like me they really like me. Oblivious to the world around them, Melania and Trump, Dumb and Dumber, pose for pictures wearing the most inappropriate of clothing to even lift a bottle of water or a can of gasoline to assist Texans who right now seem to have lost an awful lot from their current lives.

Selling Hurricane Hats for $40 a pop, the Trump re-election campaign has found yet another way to con the miserable bigots and racists who support a Nazi sitting in the White House. This is the biggest, baddest, natural disaster, brags Trump in a Tweet, and no matter how many Texans’s lives have been diminished,  Trump will insist his useless PR trip is going to make it GREAT.  

No matter that Mueller is connecting the dots to Russian collusion, interference, bribery and most likely blackmail. No matter that North Korea had launched a missile to fly over Japan. No matter the Government might be shut down to pay for a wall. No matter it is no longer a coincidence that almost every single Trump advisor lied about EVER meeting with a Russian spy. No matter ANY of that, Melania in her stiletto flood shoes, and Trump in some kind military flap jacket will be flying to Corpus Christi, doing nothing but standing idly by wasting the time and energy of real heroes, to brag about what a great job Trump has done in not only being president for a 1000 year apocalyptic natural disaster, but somehow, that HE will make it even worse! 

Houston

The immediacy of assistance is never the moment any of us wish to be burdened with. Life becomes a blur, and decisions once made with the comfort of time, ramble, ram and course through our veins, with the loudest sometimes reaching our brains first and the result is to react. Having lived in Houston for 10 years, I had the opportunity of first making acquaintances and luckily turning those into pure, honest friendships. I became a part of the community of Houston, and albeit, we were still in Texas, my community was a solid, loving, caring and comforting group of people. I am watching the miserable and mind-blowing devastation taking place in the greater Houston area, wondering how might I cope with this disaster, and wishing that those effected have the strength to make the next move, take the next step, and the courage to provide assistance to everyone around them. This is difficult no matter how many wishes and prayers are extended.

Trump is obsessed with the successes of president Obama, and has gone out of his way to be a petulant child rather than a professional president, and has declared war on anything with the Obama name in front of it. He has written executive orders as if he was the Imperial power, and in one of his obsessed filled tantrums decided that infrastructure improvement toward flood prone localities must end. Of course this was done not for practical purposes, but for spite, the only real emotion Trump is capable of sharing. As Trump hides in some cushy room at Camp David, the only presidential decision he has made IS which new baseball cap SHALL he wear to show his allegiance with the suffering victims of Hurricane Harvey. Along with his selection of baseball caps of course Trump has his phone, and ever the narcissist Tweets a few words of encouragement (sort of like W saying,”Good Job Brownie”), thinking that anything stated by Trump is all the world needs. Then there is Congressman Blake Farenthold ( R) from Corpus Christi, a member of the Freedom Caucus, (who fought tooth and nail to NOT provide any more FEMA or Federal support for the victims of Sandy), being interviewed explaining in the typical Republican Double Speak Language of Hypocrisy), that THIS time socialism is good for America and money coming from the big bad Federal Government is different, then it was for Hurricane Sandy! 

All the while the people of Houston are suffering from the newest most apocalyptic natural disaster (notice, how every time a once in a hundred years hurricane, flood, tornado, earthquake is the newest apocalyptic event, but Climate Change is just a liberal lie). I watch, helplessly as brave people exhibit qualities of survival, neighbor to neighbor, person to person, and wonder what will come next. 

The Silence

It is the silence that is so frightening. It is the lack of the utterance of words that could dilute, the demagoguery, of the Devil, named Trump. To just passively object, but insist that the office of the Presidency must be respected, thus ignoring your own disillusionment, provides more fodder for the fires of lies and hatred. When cable news permits a DEBATE on good hate groups or bad hate groups…permitting a discussion on the levels of bigotry…the dismantling of historical facts, the only things being said are that it’s okay in certain circumstances to deny freedoms and equality.

When some Senators fearing a possible backlash for their re-election Tweet a statement in the comfy confines of their bathrooms as they sit on the toilet, but make no moves to censure Trump in the Congress at a public forum, they are as guilty as the goons who wear white hoods and red arm bands. When Jewish advisors, provide anguish in their statements regarding anti-Semitism, but insist that somehow they are staying on for economic policies, these men and women are nothing more than parasites eating away at the flesh of their own ancestry. As the Evangelicals lay their hands on a man who would have placed the first nail on the cross, pretending that Trump is a savior because he spits vile and venom against the LGBTQ community and women’s reproductive rights, they are spewing blasphemy, unabashedly and brazenly. And when Talking Heads are permitted to change the discourse of criminal actions by Joe Arpaio into illicit facts that it’s not the manner in which this criminal acted but rather, that we should applaud his patriotism for standing up to immigration, we allow truth to wither away and die.

It is the silence from the citizens who were Bernie or Bust fans but out of spite voted for Trump…It is the silence from the wealthy who believed that even if trump was a jerk, taxes would be lowered…It is the silence from the Log Cabin Republicans, pretending that there was more to a candidate than fairness, trust or truth…It is the silence from the Jewish citizens, pretending that if Israel is safe, all American Jews would be safe…It is the silence from the Christian Community, those who believe Jesus was not a banker, did not hate the poor, did not hate, where is your outcry of the bastardization of your religion. It is the silence that is so frightening, so deafening and ever so destructive. 

The Coward

With the emptiness of a plastic bag floating in the wind eventually to be smashed to the ground, finding itself as nothing but trash, Trump the Coward ignites more division and diversion flying away to yet another vacation. Insisting that Joe Arpaio was a Patriot doing America’s business instead of a bigoted criminal discriminating against anyone with brown skin, Trump, catering to his base of spineless men and women provided a pardon and raised his middle finger to American justice. The silence from the Republican’s is overwhelming, and the lack of will to divest the imposter, Trump, from any Executive responsibilities is exasperating. But somehow we hear that the GOP has an agenda, and they, in spite of Trump must achieve it.

With the fear of his masculinity being challenged, his dire dread of being emasculated, Trump lashes out at the transgendered community enlisted in the military, and proposes a stoppage for any future American patriots to support our nation’s defenses. Having enjoyed 5 deferments himself, and having none of his children volunteer to serve our nation, again feeding the fuels of homophobic fires of his base, Trump demeans the LGBTQ community once again. Without valid reason, just loathing for those braver then he has ever been, once again Trump raises his middle finger to another demographic, dismissing them as an enemy of the state.

Trump the Coward remains in power. Seems a lot of people whisper about their worries, but few with the power to stop him shout above the din of disaster Trump has created and will continue to create. Somehow, we hear from Talking Heads that the business of America must continue. We avoid the real business of America, the cyber attack on our democratic systems, the hacking of elections, the bribery and collusion by the Russians toward anyone Trump. We hear people say Trump is wrong in so many ways, yet they stand by him, using flimsy excuses to protect their own greed and gluttony. Trump the Coward has yet to be held responsible for any actions, and his best bet to beat any illegal and immoral actions against him, remains in the silence of too many Americans.

He IS

Trump will be Trump and so far he has been right on target. He will not change, and throughout his entire life has paid very little consequence for being Trump. I am not sure, then, why we continue to complain about this man, when in fact he couldn't care less, and becomes emboldened by our criticism. His followers think hatred, bullying, and bigotry makes you DA MAN, sorting out various enemies makes you more powerful, and somehow lying is the American thing to do. It doesn’t matter what we say about Trump and his campaign trip to Phoenix proved that point quite precisely. So, why are we still making Trump the object of our dis-affection? 

The GOP has been in bed with Trump ever since McConnell delighted in anything and everything ANTI-OBAMA. The witch trials worse then Salem led by GOP leadership against Hillary added to the creation of a Trump in the White House. The Propaganda from FOX, the readers of Breibart and the conmen and con-women from conservative radio with their assistance from Evangelicals helps pave the road for a supply Populist president, who in reality was and IS only interested in HIS bottom line. And yet we chagrin, we consternate, we shake, we spit, we foam and ferment all against the immovable object who has been and is supported by career Republican politicians/Billionaires who hate democracy and a bunch of journalists who permit his enablers to ENABLE him.

The Democrat Party is somewhere in the hinterlands, arguing among themselves, while the GOP pretending to be offended by Trump still support him because Party is more valuable than Country and the only people that count are called Corporations. We are inches from a Civil War, a Nuclear War, a War on Freedom, but yet, all we do is chastise Trump. He ain’t gonna change as long as he his supported by everyone else. Lets start naming names, lets start calling them out, let start acting instead of reacting. I just don’t understand it, at all!

The ENABLERS

Now it is time to ridicule, call out, name the ENABLERS, the GOP Congress who have not spoken out against Trump, the few GOP Senators who may have, for political reasons called out Trump by name once, thinking that was good enough. Maybe its time to call out by name each and every Cabinet Member who remains loyal to a man who has no loyalty but to self. Lets call out the ENABLERS at FOX, from the Murdoch Family who employs their Propagandists, to the on air entertainment personalities who glorify racism, bigotry and hate. Lets call out by name the ENABLERS who use Jesus as a scapegoat, the Evangelical Leadership who insist that Trump was called to duty by Jesus.

We all know, except for those who MUST define an enemy, so they feel less guilty for their failures, that Trump is nothing but a Black Hole, who absorbs any negative energy thrown his way and turns it into toxic revolutionary dictatorship Fascism. Trump couldn't care less that he is liar and then will lie to those who love themselves a failure as a leader. Trump survives because of the people around him who ENABLE his dark, derogatory demonizing of democracy. We can call out Trump for his narcissism, but a narcissist needs an audience, but those in the GOP/the media/the Evangelical church who remain silent, or find excuses for trumps behavior, without them Trump shrivels up like a nasty weed.

Why is Trump still sitting in the White House, easy answer, if you want to be honest, men like Paul Ryan, the silent GOP Senators, billionaires like the Mercer family have permitted Trump to reign. Anyone who knows an addict, understands the strength the addict derives from his or her ENABLERS. As one voice we now need to call out and continue to call out the Trump ENABLERS, from his family, his friends and the GOP who continues to place Party before Country!

So Confused

Today, in Reno, the man who said that there are nice Nazi’s is speaking in front of the American Legion, and as he speaks he is getting applause. The man who has not made any real effort to dissuade homegrown terrorists from destroying our democracy is speaking in front of the American Legion, explaining that under his regime he will rid the world of terrorism and he is getting applause.  Today, reading from a teleprompter, words written for him by a speechwriter, shouting out red, white and blue, apple pie and baseball, a man who embraces the traditions of apartheid, slavery, anti-Semitism, who candles white nationalists who demeaned Washing and Jefferson is speaking in front of the American Legion and getting applause.

A delusional, demeaning demagogue a snake oil salesman, a narcissistic neo Nazi is speaking in front of Veterans and getting applause. So, now what America, Trump can do it all, speak out of four sides of his tongue defy the foundations of this nation deride the democracy and the American Legion applauds him. Who is there to stop him? Shame on Trump, but shame on the men and women who have risked their lives, to defeat Fascism, Communism, who pretend that Trump is the REAL American. How much more frustration and failure must we endure. The American Legion, whose members demonstrated the values and morals and bravery of this nation in crisis, applaud a man whose only goal is to feed his ego and line his pockets. I am so confused!

Godzilla VS Mothra

Godzilla VS Mothra, Alien VS Predator, Mega Shark VS Mega Croc, Bannon VS Kushner, Trump VS McConnell, it is always so difficult to know which villain to root for, understanding that both sides are really, really evil. We witness the devastation, havoc wrecked upon the innocent, the villagers, the bystanders, showcased uniquely buy the separate monsters. BUT then these creatures meet head on face to face bringing with them the horrors, the heinous, the hideous, yet one will remain the victor. Who to cheer on, who to urge they use their murdering maniacal mayhem upon? 

They eat their own, we all know those legends of the bad guys, the ones who lure you into their schemes, only to become paranoid that the newest recruit MIGHT actually be more of a criminal than the mentor. Eliminate the competition, only room for one tyrant, history has proven all that via, accidental poisoning, unexpected car crashes, fiction foibles released to a press at the ready to fake any news so their ratings rise. They are a lot, a collection, a gaggle of goons with the purpose of self stimulating, self serving, and selfishness. When you have the whole pie, why waste the time and cut it into pieces, feed yourself until you vomit, then throw the rest a way.

Monsters fighting monsters, creatures attacking creatures, paranoid men and women promoting lies, propaganda and treats of purity all in the name of self preservation. When are we the people of this nation going to just stop being the audience, watching the annihilation of our nation and fight back?

KAPO'S

The German Concentration Camps depended on the cooperation of trustee inmates who supervised the prisoners. Known as KAPO’S, these trustees carried out the will of the Nazi camp commandants and guards, and were often as brutal as their SS counterparts. Some of these KAPO’S were Jewish and even they inflicted harsh treatment on their fellow prisoners. For many, failure to perform their duties would have resulted in sever punishment and even death, but many historians view their actions AS A FORM OF COMPLICITY. After the war the prosecution as KAPO’S as war criminals, particularly those who were Jewish created an ethical dilemma which continues to this day. (Jewish Virtual Library)

As an American who happens to be Jewish, the historical facts of Fascism, the rise of Nazism and the administration of Adolph Hitler remain important information that I refuse to forget. So, I worry when I see Fascism disguised as National Economics or anti-Globalization become a philosophy adopted by not only the fool sitting in the Oval Office but embraced by his staff and family who not only are Americans but like me, happen to be Jewish. I am not only frightened when I watch the cavalier attitude the Trump cadre of Jews, seem to adhere to as if, like the wealthy Jews of both Rome and Berlin, being wealthier than most other Jews makes them immune to ethics, morals values and the lessons of history. The German's were wise madmen, they understood that creating monsters from within a demographic was both insidious and useful. The cohorts of a Trump administration, and administration which defines some Nazi’s as good people, are, for me, like the KAPO’S situated in the Concentration Camps just as guilty, just as culpable and just as sinister as TRUMP.

The current crop of Jewish KAPO’S, living well and enjoying their freedoms in this year of 2017 are: Steven Mnuchin, Treasury Secretary, Michael Cohen, Trumps’s personal lawyer, Stephen Miller, Senior Advisor for Policy, Sheldon Adelson, multi million dollar contributor to the Trump Campaign, and of course Ivanka and Jared Kushner, daughter and son-in-law. Either by stating that Trump’s comments regarding good Nazi’s is not anti-semitic nor racist, or by the sheer volume of silence regarding Trumps love affair with White Nationalists, these KAPO’S of the Trump Administration demonstrate cowardice and collusion. And like the Jewish KAPO’s of the Concentration are nothing more than denial of their own sad souls for purposes of rewarding their personal gain. They all are enemies not only of the Jewish People, but enemies of the State, itself.

A Moral Compass

“A Moral Compass," the newest catch phrase, as if before Trump, morality took priority in the world of politics. “A Moral Compass," suddenly we have lost our way, morally. We seem to have forgotten that as Trump ran his campaign he lied, slurred women, denigrated minorities, did I say lie, created a verbal religious war, and never was held accountable for any action or word he did or muttered. BUT now, somehow, “A Moral Compass” is missing or better yet has stopped functioning. How easy it is to decide, as the guy sitting in the Oval Office, considers some Nazi’s and Supremacists “nice people," that the “Moral Compass,” has always been missing. Now we are to fix that compass and we will find our way.

Nope, morality in politics has been missing for a long time, its direction has been leading the politicians to his or her own needs has for a long time. We have permitted morals in government to be set free. When we vote for politicians who want to deny freedoms and equalities to certain segments of this nation…when we encourage the wealthy to set agendas at the cost of the less financially fortunate, when we consider a human should debate if, food, shelter or health care is the priority at the coast of the other choices…when we permit the slander, innuendo, the excuse that someone’s God is afraid of mere mortals…when we have participated in all of that and to this moment still do…”A Moral Compass”, certainly had or has not been functioning.

We are waist deep into the cesspool of evil, starting from the guy we somehow all knew lacked morals, and continuing with the GOP politicians who never ever say anything disparaging directed at Trump, personally. We are the chumps of the Evangelicals who somehow pretend to be closer to God than thee, when THEY cannot divorce themselves from the immorality of Trump, for fear that their top three priorities might evaporate, with Trump out of office: having a majority  activist Conservative Supreme Court, anti LGBTQ rights, and anti women’s rights…The only direction Trump travels is to Trump, he has never used “A Moral Compass to find any one but himself, all he needs is a bunch scapegoats lining his road forward. “A Moral Compass," why do we need to market hate, bigotry, bias inequality and provide it a fancy name. So what happens if the compass starts working…Change? How? And by whom?

Addiction

I guess I am still a cable news addict, even though after the disgrace which was Cable New Coverage of everything Trump, without questioning much of his bluster, and Cable News masturbation on everything Hillary, never questioning the validity of sources or stories, I protested and stopped watching Cable News, including my hero Rachel Maddow! So, trying hard to avoid my addictive behavior I slowly, starting with Rachel began to watch MSNBC and CNN. But now, I realize what a huge mistake it has been. Cable News Networks for the most part are still nice wrapping paper of a very loathsome gift. Why in the world does Cable News think they need to provide a debate stage for the bigots/racists and anti-Semites when it come to the question of “Good Nazi’s/Good Confederacy/Good White Nationalists. There is no debate when looking at the history of this nation which fought wars against men and women who wanted slavery/tyranny/dictatorial enslavement/and a demise to democracy. Yet somehow, I suppose for ratings, MSNBC and CNN keep on keeping on and become enablers for the most repugnant of people, providing them with enough oxygen as if their hatred is only fair and balanced…for that fact they might as well be FOX Noise.

And as obnoxious as enabling stupid people with no respect for history to speak is another diddy, which is most upsetting…Now it seems it is very cool to have a Person of Color debate another Person of Color as to who is truly more of color. Now, as if People of Color can only be one individual, with one mind set, we have them arguing with each other. Talk about White Privilege…Hey Black man you are supposed to hate Trump, hey Black man are you sure you are Black enough cause you like Trump. Fools are unique unto them selves…we have Jewish members of Trump’s team who refuse to call out Trump directly on Good Nazi’s and bad Nazi’s (Why even Netanyahu of Israel hasn’t called Trump about his love for Nazi’s. Bigotry is owned by the cowards, the insecure idiots no matter their race or religions and sexuality.

The biggest hypocrites however are the Evangelicals who have FINALLY come forward admitting why they love a two time adulterer, having a child out of wedlock, lying, Communist, Nazi. Many of the Evangelicals who swear Jesus was an NRA member and a Board member of the Jerusalem Bank, pretend that IT is because of Trump’s economic acumen (I can’t believe I put the words Trump, economic and acumen in the same sentence) The Holy Hypocrites when pushed however admit that Trump can commit any sin, but Jesus will pardon him as long as he continues to hate the LGBTQ community and those nasty women who have the audacity to want reproductive freedom. The Holy Hypocrites hoping the Trump will appoint yet one or two more activists to the Supreme Court, have given up any honesty, and Christianity and any democratic principles as long as Trump will hate he Gay and the Hussy! And CNN, MSNBC provide fertile areas and soap boxes for the ignorant, the uneducated and unAmericans to show off and show up. I am Gerry and I am a Cable News addict, help me!

Talking Heads

The Talking Heads, all gussied up in suits and dresses with just the correct watches and jewelry, sitting around either a glass table, a hard core wooden desk, each ready to pontificate about Bannon and Trump are they still BFF’s, Just Bro’s? Is the Bromance still on or does one prefer to be the top while other refuses to bottom. Insiders, tell the Talking heads they know what happened, White House Staff is relieved, some pretend nothing was ever wrong and others have stopped taking Zanax. It is as if Cable News wants to make this THE Breaking News Moment of the week. It is as if the content matters very little, but the glorification of assuming to know the real facts is what matters. it IS all a FACADE because it all rotates and ruminates around Trump, and to this day no Cable News Anchor or Talking head has predicted anything correctly when it comes to Trump. And the biggest news is, that Steve bannon is as sinister and slimy as Trump but much more calculating. You really thin because Bannon left the premises of the White Supremacist House he is gone. I could be a Talking Head if you want to hear that shit. Get real ladies and gents as you poof and puff, huff and puff, you ain’t got the foggiest idea of what is next, but Trump and Bannon surely do. Get to the real point, Trump IS still an idiot, an angry insecure buffoon, who loves to get even, refuses to even understand he is wrong, and will play his lemming like crowd, even at the destruction off this nation’s democracy.

Stop ring ing your fingers regarding Bannon, he is alive and well at Breibart, and you know, there are many ways, for Bannon and Trump to be best buds again. Talking Heads, start tackling the lower hanging fruit, the Senate, the House, start incessantly judging their behavior, or in most cases lack of. Start calling upon the so called Evangelical Circle Jerk who laid hands on Trump, ask them if there are good Nazi’s and Clansmen? Find the few CEO’s who still honor Trump by playing golf, ask them how a racist in the Oval House will heal America. And Cable News, start educating your viewers on the history of Confederate monuments, make comparisons to other nations overrun by tyrants and ask how many monuments do those countries keep on public display. And Dem leadership, for God sake, there is NOTHING to gloat about, because A). Bannon is still a dangerous infection, and B) Trump is the infected.

Too soon, too soon

My Grandma Braff, arrived in the United States at the age of 15, from Braylia Romania. Her oldest sister had been in America a few years before her, and as was the situation way back when, once a family member became Americanized they sent for the rest of the family. Upon my Grandmother’s arrival (these were stories we grew up listening to), were a few expectations: become as American as soon as possible, get a job, learn English and pay taxes. These conditions had to be met because my Great Uncle Schrul, who was the first to arrive and the man with the money, would stop permitting any other relatives to emigrate if any of them were ignored. But the thing that NO ONE in my Grandmother’s Romanian family ever insisted upon, was to forget superstitions of the Old Country, and the superstitions from many a Romanian Jewish person. One in particular which my Grandma Braff insisted be respected, one which my mother had no problem in practicing, was the “Never Celebrate Too Soon…Give the Good News a Chance to Remain Good for a While” This took the form of asking my ex-wife and I not to have the baby crib ready until our first child was born. I was a proud American, but lots of Romanian blood had been flowing in my body so I obeyed.

Too, soon America to tout and taunt, cheer and celebrate the so called resignation by Steve Bannon from the White Supremacist House. Had Trump called out Bannon for his unAmerican Fascist fantasies, his Neo Nazi form of Nationalism, his consternation to abide by the Constitution, then and only THEN might we have reason to breathe a sigh of American democracy relief. Trump fired (bull shit, resignation) Bannon, because Bannon had the audacity to try and out Important Trump, leaving Trump with a feeling of Impotence. Bannon’s bye-bye from the White Supremacist House had nothing to do with insidious ideology, but more with stepping on the very frail and fractured ego of Trump.

No room for jubilation and we gotcha’ on this departure. Tweets, the new form of communication, safe, sufficient, sarcastic and sure to incite any emotion you so desire. Hide behind a few words, mostly misspelled and shaped into some new form of language, just so you almost communicate using the English language. Fast, efficient, if you want to function as an illiterate, who has no time to really say anything, but needs more time to say it over and over again. Quick precise, add the hashtag, and you have an identity, void of much personality except some nickname, but able to heap big words into small spaces. And so, we now have American policies Tweeted, responses to American policies Tweeted, debate Tweeted and cowards reign supreme because as long as someone follows them, they can seem to be more than some shadowy figure using his fingers in a quick and precise manner.

Trump Tweets, but the language he uses to Tweet is also the same garbled words he uses to speak. For him this is like writing a novel. He has empty words, useless advice, and almost as a form of masturbation, he gets off calling people derogatory names, inferring ignorant adjectives, and loving his ability to hurt. 

Now it seems the Republican politicians, you know the mostly gerrymandered or hacked into office guys and gals, now they too have decided to hide behind their Tweets and solve the big question of Race and Bigotry with 140 characters. Nothing says leadership by just using 140! Racism, meh, Bigotry, meh, anti-Semitism, Meh, Homophobia, Meh… Yep, how we get things done, by never committing to being brave enough to face our foes in person, but hiding behind technology. We should all understand that attacking Trump is almost like feeding him as if he was a Vampire. Trump loves the negative attention from the good guys so he can then tell the bad guys how much of a victim he and they in turn are…more, more, more. NOW, however is the time we must divert out attention to Republican Congress, they are the ones who can’t take complete cover from the Nazi’s, the KKK, the White Supremacists, and soon even their cover from the Russians may be exposed. Our words to the Republicans, however need to be longer than 140 characters, and deeper than the Mariana Trench. We must insist that the GOP cannot hide behind Tweets, and must face the American public, using their mouths instead of their fingers!

The Republican Party’s mantra has been accept the Republican NRA, Bankers Are Great People, Poor People and people of color suck Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and become knowledgeable about anything that has to do with CowGirls, Gals, Ladies and of course their lady Parts. So under the direction of their current dumbs shit Governor and a super majority of Republicans in both houses of Texas Government, the GOP has passed a law stating that Insurance will not cover Rape, the effects or results of rape, and if you get raped you need to purchase Rape Insurance.

Republicans, show your love for Country, not Party, and step forward and renounce Trump and his bigoted racist philosophy , which includes embracing enemies of this nation, like the Confederacy, Fascism, and Communism. The Republican Party wields a lot of power to make change for this nation, which establishes life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all, and if you refuse to be that kind of true Patriot, history will condemn you, and your generations that follow.

Stop your support of Trump, help with the investigation of Trump, prove him innocent or guilty, but use the tools of our democracy to do so. 

The Elites

67 years ago, I was born into a family who practiced the Jewish religion. I was raised to embrace Judaism, went to Hebrew School, became a Bar Mitzvah, was able to lead trips to Israel, got married to my first spouse in a Temple (paid the rabbi $350 for the privilege of being a Jew to get married in the Temple (But that is another blog), and then began my professional career as a Jewish Communal Worker. I believed that all people were equal, but as a Jewish person growing up in the 50’s and 60’s, I wanted to make sure future generations of American Jews did indeed get to pursue their dream of life, liberty and happiness. I studied Jewish history, for me it was important to grasp the nuances of tradition, the lessons of the Talmud and to always understand my identity. I had learned that there was the idea that TheJewish people, came from two separate parts of the world, the Sephardic Jew’s had origins from North Africa, and the Ashkenazi Jew, found it's footing in Western Europe, Eastern Europe was a sort of melting pot and both demographics of Jewish observance and custom melded together in this nations. But much to my surprise, it seems that I have discovered a third origin of Jewish life, I say it began in Eilat, an Israeli City at the tip the red Sea, because ever since the start of the 20th Century the Elite Jews have emerged on the scene. These are the wealthiest of jews who's blood is made of gold, and whose conscience has little to do with the Old Testament, but more so with Wall Street, Dow Jones, and greed.

Now in my Jewish Communal professional life I luckily worked with very rich Jewish families, whose dedication to equality, fairness and freedom was equated with not only their philanthropic gifts but they volunteer efforts and energies. These families are the heart and core of great museums, hospitals, schools, universities and community centers, but none of those families history originate from Eilat, so they are not Elite Jews. The Elite Jews were the people who felt that too many run of the mill, eastern European Jews were entering the country from Ellis Island and demanded that Washing DC send those peasants to places like Galveston, New Orleans, hoping that by keeping them out of the East, the gentiles would feel much more comfortable. Why some the Elites were torn on what to do with the SS St Louis boat load of jewish refugees who eventually were sent back to Europe and murdered by the Nazi’s.

It seems now, in 2017, a resurgence of the Elite Jews has multiplied, with names like Adelson, Mnuchin, and of course Kushner. Like their ancestors from Berlin and Rome, these Elite Jews believe gold is the blood in their bodies that makes them a different kind of Jew. These kind of Jews remain quiet as Nazi’s march in America wanted to rid the world of Jewish Blood. These kind of jews think living in penthouses or casinos, or on Wall Street will shield them from anti-Semitism. I was dumbfounded to discover, a third origin of Jewish life, a new group, the elites who have no conscience or morals just greed and gluttony. how interestingly SAD!

Still Jewish

Hey Princess Ivanka and Prince Jared, just a few questions from this Jewish American…First, are you both still Jewish, i am wondering because your silence regarding the nazi support for your father and father-in-law is kind of, of, well missing…Second question, Princess and Prince, how do you explain to your JEWISH kids, that their grandpa, considers some American Nazi’s the Good Guys? How do you explain to your Jewish kids that when the American Nazi’s talk about killing Jews and ridding the world of their Jewish Blood, do the two of you just say, but don’t worry kids we are a different kind of Jew…you know the wealthy elite Jews of Berlin believed it was currency that flowed through their veins…Should make for some great Rosh Ha’Shana discussion this year, huh?

New History

Today, we had a history lesson from the guy who bragged about being the First in his class in college. He told us that the Confederate monuments are important parcels of land with great meaning for a population of people. He forgot that the Confederacy declared war on the Union and wanted to invade our homeland. But since the Sons and Daughters of the Confederacy voted for Trump, Trump has no problem rewriting history for his lemmings. Today we also learned that no matter if the Alt-Right was wearing or carrying Nazi paraphernalia, idolizing the virtues of Hitler, that even if there was a war in which many American soldiers went to war to risk life and limb, no matter any of that it wasn’t the fault of an enemy to our democracy that was guilty In Charlottesville, because according  to Trump those Nazi’s protesting, just wanted a civil protest. Nope it had to be the Left, who hate democracy. Again, understanding that Racists were a vast majority who supported his bid for the White House, Trump will not make waves.

To add to the Trump history lesson we were told that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson owned slaves, so if we are going to tear down statues lets include them. Trump is correct that both men owned slaves and that is a sad milestone in our American history, but neither Washing or Jefferson declared war against our homeland. But Trump still is listening to Bannon, Miller and Mr and Mrs Gorka, who ARE either Fascist’s/Nazi’s or White Supremacists, so of course the bad guy is the good guy who in the land of fake news becomes the bad guy.

So, you voted for Trump, you were a Veteran/the children of a Veteran/you were a Log Cabin Republican/you were a viewer of FOX News/you hated Hillary because you wanted to believe all of the lies/of you hated Hillary because it was Bernie or Bust. So you voted for Trump because he wasn’t a politician, just a REAL businessman who never demonstrated any bottom line budgets from his businesses of personal accounts. So, now, as if them before now was irrelevant, if you were one of the above categories, or even some demographic i did not mention, and you have not called for Trump’s Impeachment at the least and prison time for the most, guess what…you are as dumb as shit, and a Racist/Anti-Semite/Bigot. And the rest of us are suffering your sheer self indulgence as a fool!

Not, So, Civil War

While the North won the Civil war via the battlefield, the South never really lost their desire to maintain an entirely different set of standards for its citizens. This had been combined with the paranoia of a Christian religion fearful that their Lord and Savior could not withstand the freedoms from those people of color or those whose sexuality or gender behavior was deemed different. So the Sons and Daughters of the Confederacy with permission by the US Federal Government, kept the battle cry of secession alive by sprouting monuments to the leaders and a government of a country which declared war upon the United States. It once was a geographical demarcation like North Korea and South Korea or East Berlin and West Berlin, but now the ideals of a South, ready to rise again are not directed by state lines, but by a Republican Party too afraid of real democracy and adhering to its rules and regulations. The man sitting in the Oval Office understands very little, but has a keen desire to stay in power, and he realized that hatred and bigotry had never died, no matter how the rest of the nation pretended so.

So, here we are with Nazi’s (maybe when they wear their white sheets and hoods they prefer the name KKK), but here we have Nazi’s who carry the Confederate Flag as they wave the symbols of the Swastika and remembrances of the Fatherland from days of Hitler. Here we have, with permission of Trump and his three top advisors in the White House, Gorka, Bannon and Miller, a battle at the ready to be blown into full force. There will be more and more White Supremacist’s rally’s and more divide and conquer for two main reasons, there IS truly NO negative actions taken by anyone in the White House, and the tepid response by the Majority party in power, the GOP, is too afraid of their own leadership who is being blackmailed or just being primaried out of office by Trump and his squadron of Brown Shirts, and White Robed Confederate soldiers.

Why, to this day, do we assume that statues of the enemy of the State, the Confederates should have ever been permitted to be placed in US cities is baffling…unless we realize that only on the battle field did the South win the war. Steve Bannon is cunning and a treasonous anarchist, his boss is a narcissist, tempted with money, and fame, so he will NEVER act to stop a not So Civil War. Do not be surprised when the war goes full blast as each new day the Nazi’s pick another city in which to create violence…so much violence that Trump, will feel he must protect this nation and declare Martial Law. No conspiracy theory here, and this is not impossible, especially if we are still counting the days Trump has been permitted to sit in the Oval Office. The silence of Republicans/the Trump voters who quietly regret their stupid choices, equals death, as does the noise and violence of the American Nazi’s.

A few days late, a teleprompter speech, taking no questions and NOW, America we are to suppose from he see people who always provide us with "the most," “the best," “very, very, very good” all is necessary said and done and there will be no more Racism/Bigotry/Bias/Anti-Semitism/Misogyny/Xenophobia from either Trump or the Republican Party.

Why even at risk senator Cory Gardner from Colorado, Tweeted how discouraged he has been that Trump hadn’t mentioned his hateful White Supremacists base of voters, and good All American Paul Ryan had to make sure America knew he too was appalled…But neither Senator Gardner, nor Speaker Ryan, had any backbone to confront Trump by asking him to fire Bannon, Gorka and Miller.  So, here we go, The GOP will now take credit for saying the words, which for the people who watch FOX News is enough…but none of them will create laws to stop the hatred for People of Color/the LGBTQ community/Muslims in America/Women/and the Poor. Sorry Trump you are still and illegitimate puppet full of lies and bad for America!

2000 degrees F, that was the temperature necessary to burn the bodies of the populations living within the German Concentrations camps. How many Grandparents of Jewish Grandchildren throughout Europe during the Nazi occupation had washed that they had the power to stop the Brown Shirts and SS from intimidating their family? If you voted for Trump, because, without any facts just fiction and innuendo he promised to Make America Great Again, and you are a descendent of a Veteran who enlisted to fight the fascist regimes of Germany and Italy during the Second World War, if you have honored your loved ones who risked life and limb to keep democracy, DEMOCRACY, for ALL Americans safe and sound, and YOU, after Saturday’s riots in Charlottesville’s, still believe that Trump has an iota of respect for ALL Americans, how do you keep from cracking the mirror when you look at yourself. Saturday, in Charlottesville, mostly men, carrying flags with a swaztika, and other Nazi significant icons of Fascist anti American propaganda paraded claiming that an all white America, and all Christian America is what makes America Great. Trump’s forced response as Commander in Chief was to never mention the anarchists of White Supremacy, the KKK and the Neo Nazi’s as enemies of the state, but preferred (in order to keep his bigoted self victimizing and self loathing lemmings in line), to state everyone, not just the anarchists were the problem. If after that statement as he was still on vacation, where he refused to say loud and proud the Neo Nazi’s, you are the enemy, AND you still support Trump, you lead a miserable and perhaps a very bigoted and stupid life…plus your hypocrisy is amazing.

If you bought into the MAGA concept because you think your America is not doing its best for you the white guy or gal, and that Trump is only seeking what is best for the white’s who somehow in Twilight Zone Land have been persecuted, and you gleefully cheered on the guys and gals carrying Confederate Flags (you know the Confederacy which declared war agains t America), thinking they are the true Americans, you have either never read a history book, or have a very disturbing view of what exactly IS America. What a Fine Mess

His ratings are down, his attempt to at pre-meditated murder of at least 26 million by repealing ObamaCare has so far failed, his quest to deny fresh air for hundreds of millions is trudging along, but the icebergs are melting, and massive flooding, but there is still some clean air available. His cavalier attitude regarding the opioid epidemic is so Nancy Reagan-ish, it is frightening, because all you have to tell an addict is No, so many millions will continue to die.

The GOP still covers up the collusion between the Russians, the GOP are still on the payroll of Putin and the Russian Mafia, and Trump’s best friend Putin is the Dog Whisperer for an inept, insane, insecure, joke, whose punch line has the power to begin nuclear war. The rhetoric is rancid, the man is reckless, and we remain pawns and shills as nothing at all is done to remove a criminal, named Donald Trump from office. Trump has no conscience, he couldn't care less as anxiety now floats freely around the world regarding his soul-less parade of of childhood vocabulary. His ratings are down, so now he needs a plot, a ploy a pretend scenario to keep the viewers attention…Because Trump is so void, so empty, he has no idea just how dangerous and deranged an individual he is.

His White Supremacist, guardians, Bannon, Miller, just to name a few are smart enough to keep our attention away from the real fact of Trumps illegitimacy, and both men are selfish enough to take us to the brink of war, just so we stop talking about Impeachment, and Prison. What a fine mess!

The Scariest Thing about Trump is NOT the fact that he lost the popular vote by almost 3 million, or that he just eked out a narrow victory with the Electoral College, in states which until the day of the election leaned positively toward Hillary suggesting that not only did the Russians hack into the polling stations but must have had some collusion with the GOP politicos in those states…the Scariest Thing about Trump is NOT that he lies, hear’s voices in his head, is a narcissist and paranoid…The Scariest Thing about Trump is NOT that Comrade Mitch McConnell and his GOP leadership understood that a true democracy would never permit men such as McConnell and Ryan to lead a country, with their only concerns themselves and the 1%. All of that is of course SCARY…BUT THE SCARIEST THING about Trump sitting in the Oval Office, especially NOW is that Trump has never EVER had to pay any consequence for his actions, words or deeds. He has NEVER been held accountable for his stupid, insincere, self serving behavior. Trump believes that his actions will never really affect him and so far in his life he has gotten away with almost anything…and maybe as it relates to North Korea…MURDER. Trump even bragged, that if he shot someone in Times Square he would be considered a hero by his insecure bigots, racists, homophobes, white supremacists, misogynist lemmings. The SCARIEST THING right now about Trump is he is still the Commander in Chief, and no one, no one at all has stopped him.

Guess the Truth

Guess the Truth, it is a quiz game brought to you by kiss ass anarchists pretending that American values take priority over their own intentions of making money/finding fame/and selling their souls to a very Orange skinned Devil. The game goes like this…He Tweets, his talking heads, insist Trump never Tweeted the exact words he DID Tweet. Then Trump Tweets again, but this time his Talking Heads now insist that the press is just parsing Trumps own words out of context. Denial is the first line of defense, then deployment of the fake news brigade appears on the screen followed by…well he did say those exact words but he didn’t mean any of it he was just joking or better yet, being tongue in cheek! The lie is born, the lie is bred, the lie bleeds and the bandage for the infected lie is NEW lie.

The office of Commander in chief becomes tarnished, by a narcissistic, paranoid, deranged man who hears voices in his head, and his henchmen slowly bow their heads and insist he is THE GUY who speaks his mind, they never say HE is the guy who has lost his mind. We argue, that Impeachment is soon, yet one more day goes by and the Liar Lies, the Con Artist, sells more Snake Oil. We pretend that someone new, someone who supposedly knows better will calm this hysterical hypocrite down, as if a soothing voice of reason stand a chance of communicating with a mentally ill person who most likely is on a bunch of medications just to wake him up in the morning and put him to sleep at night. 

It’s not Trump we have the power to stop, it’s the Republicans who are also on the list of blackmail by the KGB master, Putin. Trump would impotent id the GOP leadership was not afraid of being found the fraud and anarchists they are. The current Republican leadership has been on the take. Slimy Comrade McConnell thought he was so sinister that he could out connive the king of the Con President Putin, but when you deal with the Devil its always the details you need to beware of like, just how much Russian Mafia money you have collected to let democracy die and let the American public die with it. Trump is in power, because the GOP refuses to admit to their own guilt. Guess the Truth a game where Trump speaks, then we are told he didn’t really speak, then we are told so what if he lies, everyone lies, and then we are told he really didn’t lie, it was just fake news. His supporters a loathsome group of anti-social warts, hate the truth, so of course they cream their pants over Trump.

“Fire and Fury," “Shock and Awe," two men with the power of nuclear weaponry capable of ending the existence of any form of life on this planet, both uneducated in the realities of their position, one still living as if everything around him IS a reality show. We didn’t win the war in Iraq or Afghanistan, we showcased our pomp and circumstance, but like all events the day ends and the hoopla, having been made from arts and crafts is taken down and there is no longer that PR extravaganza just the next day, and the same problems and concerns. Sitting at his table in his New Jersey Golf Club, surrounded by mostly men dressed in the Trump made in China suits, is the clown of the circus trying so hard to be the Master of Ceremonies, thinking that the North Koreans are just another stupid group of Trump supporters. Trump shouts, “fire and fury”, similar to his remarks of “lock her up," “throw him out," meaningless, vulgar, and flippant. An amateur who was supposed to set Washington straight, a business man, never once showing us his businesses bottom lines, fast talking reality star selling the crappiest of snake oil, a slick, snide, sinister shyster, this guy who will be taken to the safest place to hide if there is a war, this GUY whom the Christians believe is so God like, just might be able to decide who lives and who dies! I know, Hillary’s emails were scarier!

Pretending that their holier than thou propositions, living the good life, as if either one was pure of conscience,  they pontificate a simple solution. You are bad if you do drugs, you deserve all the bad things that happen if you drugs, so be good and don’t do drugs. Wham, bam thank you Sir and Ma’am, how simple a response, coming from two very SIMPLY STUPID PEOPLE.  When does the madness end, when?

The RAPTURE

Hey, all you Born Again Evangelical Christian Baptist haters having hard on’s anticipating the Rapture, you know that time when your God, the guy who loves bankers, adulterers, men who dream of dating their own daughters and of course carries a gun, will return to the Earth and reclaim this planet which IS dying due to man made climate change, thinking  somehow he will save you because you practice the Christian religion with such superb hypocrisy! Well, guess what North Korea just might make your day of Rapture real. And who do we have headlong our response, well the star of a reality show, the guy ripping off our economy transferring government money to his palatial palaces…the liar in chief and the man who hears voices, just like the wicked witch in Cinderella as she spoke to her mirror asking who is the fairest in the world…Donald Trump. Now I hope, those uncle tipped ballistic missiles don’t enter our air space until Trump finishes the 18th hole, cause nothing pisses of this man when he is interrupted playing golf. Hallelujah and Amen to you Christian Crusaders, End Times are near and you voted for a helpless, hapless, harmful hopeless loser to lead the way into the Apocalypse.

OR maybe, because the past 200 days of Trump have been nothing but a poorly written reality show (yep ain’t nothing real about reality shows, (just like WWE wrestling), Trump and his Co-President Steve (Seig Heil) Bannon and his pathetic spawn of an assistant Stephen Miller will just sit back tell the Generals don’t worry, let them nuke California, and then when that mayhem begins, the White Supremacists/Putin’s blackmailed puppets will announce Martial Law, the pretense being we are under attack by a foreign power, the reality being that a new Dictator of America will arise. But then again Trump ain’t Hillary and although we know nothing about any real aspect of Trumps life, he is the guy we can trust.

One has to wonder what is next for America, and right now if trump is the guy in the Oval Office, what’s next is nothing but a dead end road…and hey you Born Again, Evangelical Christian Baptists we have no one else to thank but you…oh yeah and maybe the weak kneed democrat leadership and those Bernie or Bust even it kills men Progressives.
