While the North won the Civil war via the battlefield, the South never really lost their desire to maintain an entirely different set of standards for its citizens. This had been combined with the paranoia of a Christian religion fearful that their Lord and Savior could not withstand the freedoms from those people of color or those whose sexuality or gender behavior was deemed different. So the Sons and Daughters of the Confederacy with permission by the US Federal Government, kept the battle cry of secession alive by sprouting monuments to the leaders and a government of a country which declared war upon the United States. It once was a geographical demarcation like North Korea and South Korea or East Berlin and West Berlin, but now the ideals of a South, ready to rise again are not directed by state lines, but by a Republican Party too afraid of real democracy and adhering to its rules and regulations. The man sitting in the Oval Office understands very little, but has a keen desire to stay in power, and he realized that hatred and bigotry had never died, no matter how the rest of the nation pretended so.
So, here we are with Nazi’s (maybe when they wear their white sheets and hoods they prefer the name KKK), but here we have Nazi’s who carry the Confederate Flag as they wave the symbols of the Swastika and remembrances of the Fatherland from days of Hitler. Here we have, with permission of Trump and his three top advisors in the White House, Gorka, Bannon and Miller, a battle at the ready to be blown into full force. There will be more and more White Supremacist’s rally’s and more divide and conquer for two main reasons, there IS truly NO negative actions taken by anyone in the White House, and the tepid response by the Majority party in power, the GOP, is too afraid of their own leadership who is being blackmailed or just being primaried out of office by Trump and his squadron of Brown Shirts, and White Robed Confederate soldiers.
Why, to this day, do we assume that statues of the enemy of the State, the Confederates should have ever been permitted to be placed in US cities is baffling…unless we realize that only on the battle field did the South win the war. Steve Bannon is cunning and a treasonous anarchist, his boss is a narcissist, tempted with money, and fame, so he will NEVER act to stop a not So Civil War. Do not be surprised when the war goes full blast as each new day the Nazi’s pick another city in which to create violence…so much violence that Trump, will feel he must protect this nation and declare Martial Law. No conspiracy theory here, and this is not impossible, especially if we are still counting the days Trump has been permitted to sit in the Oval Office. The silence of Republicans/the Trump voters who quietly regret their stupid choices, equals death, as does the noise and violence of the American Nazi’s.
