Tweets, the new form of communication, safe, sufficient, sarcastic and sure to incite any emotion you so desire. Hide behind a few words, mostly misspelled and shaped into some new form of language, just so you almost communicate using the English language. Fast, efficient, if you want to function as an illiterate, who has no time to really say anything, but needs more time to say it over and over again. Quick precise, add the hashtag, and you have an identity, void of much personality except some nickname, but able to heap big words into small spaces. And so, we now have American policies Tweeted, responses to American policies Tweeted, debate Tweeted and cowards reign supreme because as long as someone follows them, they can seem to be more than some shadowy figure using his fingers in a quick and precise manner.
Trump Tweets, but the language he uses to Tweet is also the same garbled words he uses to speak. For him this is like writing a novel. He has empty words, useless advice, and almost as a form of masturbation, he gets off calling people derogatory names, inferring ignorant adjectives, and loving his ability to hurt.
Now it seems the Republican politicians, you know the mostly gerrymandered or hacked into office guys and gals, now they too have decided to hide behind their Tweets and solve the big question of Race and Bigotry with 140 characters. Nothing says leadership by just using 140! Racism, meh, Bigotry, meh, anti-Semitism, Meh, Homophobia, Meh… Yep, how we get things done, by never committing to being brave enough to face our foes in person, but hiding behind technology. We should all understand that attacking Trump is almost like feeding him as if he was a Vampire. Trump loves the negative attention from the good guys so he can then tell the bad guys how much of a victim he and they in turn are…more, more, more. NOW, however is the time we must divert out attention to Republican Congress, they are the ones who can’t take complete cover from the Nazi’s, the KKK, the White Supremacists, and soon even their cover from the Russians may be exposed. Our words to the Republicans, however need to be longer than 140 characters, and deeper than the Mariana Trench. We must insist that the GOP cannot hide behind Tweets, and must face the American public, using their mouths instead of their fingers!
