If you watched closely, as the camera panned toward Trump moving his lips to the song God Bless America, you would have thought you were watching some foreign movie, dubbed into English, where the timing is off, so what is being said, does not match the lip movement. In other words, Trump had no idea what the lyrics were, except for the part when the phrase God Bless America is repeated over and over again. Today, Tuesday, June 5, 2018, Trump needed an extra jolt to excite his xenophobic base, the folks who still believe in fake news, and that a president, is above the law, so he used the tax payer’s budget and called a bunch of American Troops to make America patriotic, again.
It seemed that FOX News has reported a false story regarding the Philadelphia Eagles NFL Super Bowl Champions, insisting that just like those thuggish other football players, the Eagles were dissing the Flag, and the Troops, and Motherhood, and White Picket Fences, by taking a knee when the Anthem was being played. Since journalism or ethical reporting is of no need at FOX, the entire storyline was based on inaccurate reporting and filled with so many lies, even Trump was fooled. The players who were on their knees were praying, and those players were praying before the Anthem even began. But who needs details when you got propaganda to pander. The Eagles were invited to the White House, and those members of the team who decided hypocrisy, racism, and collusion are not to their satisfaction as Americans decided that this was one invitation to refuse. We all know Trump needs parades and hoopla so he convince himself of his own importance and when the entire team was not going to show, Trump was to have the last word and disinvite the Eagles, thus on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in place of the Super Bowl Team celebration we had Patriotic song Karaoke with Donnie. But then, when the Eagles, did not just go away, pretending that yet another Trump lie was JUST another Trump lie, and they reported the truth, it was as if Dorothy had thrown a bucket of water at the Wicked Witch, and Trump’s temper began to melt. So, knowing that his xenophobic, Evangelical, Jesus chose Trump base, would buy the snake oil, Trump suddenly Tweeted that he had been HAD by the Eagles, and the kneeling was a publicity stunt, to embarrass Trump, and that in fact, that was why the Eagles were not invited to the White House. Did you follow that…it's like the old Abbott and Costello schtick “Who’s On First”
The newest ploy by Trump and his FOX propagandist network is to revive the old adage formulated by Senator Joseph McCarthy when in the 50’s being a Communist was a bad thing. (We all know in the 20-teens, being a Communist IS a good thing), when anyone who disagreed with the government was asked “Are you now or have you ever been…) We are in dangerous territory, America, a wannabe dictator is playing his cult-like followers for fools, pretending that only he is the true form of Patriot, and anyone who dares disagrees is dangerous! Be afraid, America, be VERY afraid!
