Who owns the Flag…yep, that question has been around since the Revolution which founded the United States of America. It seems whenever a leader of this nation is found a fraud, he or she immediately drapes themselves in the red, white and blue, and caressing the stars and stripes as if both were created for that particular politicians and demands that the only true honor anyone can muster is to Pledge Allegiance to the FLAG, and sing in glorious harmony the National Anthem, as if both actions are the truest form of patriotism, around! And if the Flag and the Anthem do not provide enough Motherhood, Apples Pie or White Picket Fences, then the leader of this nation, insecure and unstable, will always throw in the Troops, as if just saying the words Troops provides the red, white and blue to flow through your veins of blood. Symbols, instead of sincerity, icons, instead of intelligence, erroneous suggestions instead of honest statements of fairness, equality, and inclusion!
Vladimir Putin, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, compared Trump to that of a Czar. Vladimir Putin is the newest spokesperson demonstrating his appreciation for the job Trump has done so far. Oligarchs line up for meetings in the Oval Office, Sheiks, Prime Ministers, exchange handshakes for contracts with Trump Family members, and members of the Trump Crime Family. Our Federal Law Enforcement Agencies are continuously defaced by the cartoon characters dressed in MAGA hats. The Republican leadership refuses to either pursue the truth regarding the possibility of collusion, or criminal acts by Trump and his administration. People of color are continuously berated and bigotry is boasted by men and women dressed in Confederate ornaments, Nazi paraphernalia, or White Robes and White hoods, and only praise is placed upon that demographic, by Trump. Who owns the Flag…
McCarthy made sure you agreed with everything he deemed American or you were a Communist…Nixon told the hippies to love this nation or leave it as he created a war for his political career…Bush reminded us of mushroom clouds and his VP Cheney outed a CIA agent because too many questions were being asked about the integrity of a war in the Middle East…and now Trump has decided that free speech, is not free and if the speech is in disagreement with his plans to become an authoritarian leader, you are an enemy of the state. And once again in America, as if NO ONE has ever read the history or loved the history of this nation…you got to love it or leave it, you’ve got to stand and place your hand upon your heart…you’ve got to buy the snake oil or drink the Kool-Aid. Who owns the Flag, and once again it is only about a piece of cloth and not the purpose for that originated that piece of cloth.
