when tomorrow comes

As I write my blog, this blog, other blogs, I am usually incensed with the mere idea, that evil seems to be triumphing over good, and the will of the people is to either sit back and assume there is nothing they can do about it, watch it happen with such amazement, they feel as if any attempt to stop it might be fruitless, or that silently, too many people consider evil, not such a bad thing!  I become enraged with the hypocrisy, I become outraged at the lies, and my rage against the intent to divide this nation weakening it to implode upon itself is almost mind-blowing.

New tariffs against our allies, what a perfect plan by Putin, permission to keep white nationalists on the payroll of the White House, pure power by Putin. To stretch the fabric of a homogenous society into more of a rag tag, we versus them, just the pitiful suggestion of Putin. Republicans who either are dying or not running for office, finally whispering out loud their disappointment with Trump, speaking in silent voices with absolutely no authority to them. Retired Republican operatives stammering and sighing, lamenting that there is NO longer a Republican Party as if they hadn’t been responsible for its original demise, so disparaging and dumb! Evangelicals pretending that all of the sins committed by Trump are different sins committed by the LGBTQ community or women who desire power over their own reproductive systems, or People of Color who just happen to not be white, so disgusting, disingenuous, and dangerous.

Every day, it’s a Talking Head cornucopia of another round of illegal acts by the trump Administration all noticed, but nothing was done about them. Most people saying if this had been anyone else, by now it would have ended; or the best one, this time it is the last straw. I will not stop writing, marching, resisting, insisting via my words and action, should history books still be written, that THIS is my country, and I AM NOT a part of its destruction, and that I will continue, to demand the smart, intelligent, brave Americans come forward to not only save the day but change the day.

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing the songs of angry men?
It is the music of the people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
