“The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis.” /Dante Alighieri
“One of the darkest evils of our world is surely the unteachable wildness of the Good.”/ H. G. Wells
“The eye by long use comes to see even in the darkest cavern: and there is no subject so obscure but we may discern some glimpse of truth by long poring on it.”/ George Berkeley
“It is during our darkest moments we must focus to see the light.”/ Aristotle
There is no more time for ignoring the imperfections, indulging the inadequate, and permitting the Republicans to impersonate as politicians, when in fact they are imposters! There is truth, and it has been in front of our eyes, and yet we are told to not look. There are facts, and they are dropping from the clouds like heavy snowflakes, each unique, but all piling up to create a treacherous pathway forward. And there is a plethora of evidence, oozing out from the cancerous cover-up, that Trump and his Cadre of Criminal and Conspirators try so hard hide, letting them rot in some hidden poisonous pen, similar to the places where Trump and his SS Troop of ICE Workers keep children separated. We are played the fools, we are portrayed as too stupid, to let justice become free, and we are told to be petrified if Trump is Impeached and Removed from Office as if the keeping the Demon in the White House is better than performing an exorcism!
Tuesday, January 21, 2020, is looming large. It will be one of those moments in history when, if we are permitted in the future, to account for our pasts, remember, when Democracy died, or America began to survive again! These are the darkest moments, and I am afraid, so scared! “I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant." Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech, Oslo, Norway, 1964. Let Dr. King have the final word on this day of his remembrance!
