Joni Ernst a Republican Senator from Iowa left the only almost 2.5 Opening Remarks from the Trump Defense Teams defense, Impeachment Hearing, today, Saturday, January 25, 2020, and was satisfied, that without any evidence, plenty of antidotes, and lots of deferring of any facts, to state, that she IS now convinced that NO witnesses are necessary. Nope, Joni, decided that her way out of a miserable situation (for her, not this nation, because SHE is running for re-election, was too demure and pretend, that the Trump Team (many who it has been discovered have their own litany of illegal cover-ups) have made the case! So for Joni (I could give a rat as about the separation and abuse of powers because I am GOP and the Republican Mob will come and get me) Ernst. There is no need to protect the Constitution, our Democracy or the Rule of Law. After all, HER re-election trumps all and everything, plus I am certain the extra cash as a form of a bribe from the Trump 1%’ ers is all the evidence she needs.
Mittens Romney, pontificating as only an arrogant, imposter of any convictions or fortitude (except for his own ego,) is hemming and hawing, pretending that he is seriously considering asking for a vote to permit witnesses (you know the real people for whom Trump is deeply afraid, and by whom Trump has denied them to submit any reasonable doubt.) But the Media actually still caters to his disease of trying to be relevant, and the voice of reason.) And then there IS Marsha Blackburn, unable to distinguish a real American Patriot from a real Soviet Patriot! Senator Blackburn believes that when Trump agrees with Putin/quotes Putin/and shares top secrets in a private setting in the Oval Office with no American to record that conversation, ALL of that trumps, a Purple Star member of the Military as being the real red, white and blue kind of guy, she prefers.
Now, we are being told by the Trump Defense Team (again many of them carrying with them some shadowy past anti-legal behavior, and lots of hypocrisy as to who can break the law and who needs to be held in contempt,) that this entire Impeachment “THINGIE”, is just a group of Dems pissed off that Trump is sitting in the White House. On this one “THINGIE,” I do agree with them…but the part they forgot to mention is just how Trump managed to get into the White House…you know foreign interference, hacking, stolen emails, and oh yeah, how amazingly and miraculously, it was not the Popular Vote, by which Trump won, but the oddly sum of totals of certain states, in which he just happened to win a few thousand more votes to provide him with the majority of Electoral College wins! So the people of Iowa, Utah, Tennessee and the voters of your imaginary Senators from Maine/Alaska/Colorado ( all of whom love their mysteries of what to do, what to do…(for themselves and not you.) If these Republican Clowns remain in the Trump Circus, as much as you think their decision is a good one…wait until we become a Dictatorship, and Trump a King. Why, when that happens you will never have to worry about voting again!
