MONEY, money

MONEY, better than oxygen, better than health and welfare, better than clean air…SO IT SEEMS, at least if you got a WHOLE HECK A LOT OF IT!

… A mark, a yen, a buck, or a pound. A buck or a yen, a buck or a pound. Is all that makes the world go around, that clinking, clanking sound, can make the world go 'round. (“Money, Money”/Kander & Ebb)

Billionaires seem to have enough money to buy and sell, own, and operate the leaders, the rulers, and the heads of state throughout the world. And conveniently, billionaires oftentimes are actually the folks in charge of their various nations. BUT, as this wealthy class of Capitalists (Yep, even the communists, the socialists, the royals, the theocrats are Capitalists) build their palaces, their kingdoms, their selfish version of their Paradise, BILLIONS of the rest of the population living on this Earth, have nothing but trying to make it day to day.

…Money, money, money, money. Some people got to have it. Some people really need it. Listen to me, why'all, do things, do things, do bad things with it. (“Money, Money, Money,”/Jackson, Gamble, Huff)

Pay to pray, and even though you may not have enough to get through the next day, if you want Jesus to love you truly, then pay the Pastors who told you that Jesus had somehow declared them to live in the lap of luxury.  Ya gotta support Joel Olsten’s lifestyle of $ 110 million, which Joel tells his lemmings is something Jesus would expect, or Kenneth Copeland’s lifestyle of $300 million, which he insists is somehow warranted by the Lord. How can any of these officially self-anointed spokespeople for Jesus actually live a life of poverty or depravity?

…I've got the brains, you've got the looks Let's make lots of money You've got the brawn, I've got the brains Let's make lots of-money. (“Lets’ Make Lots Of Money,”/Tennant, Lowe)

Outside spending on 2024 federal races is outpacing all previous election cycles, according to an OpenSecrets analysis of campaign finance reports.

Super PACs and other outside groups that can raise and spend unlimited sums of money on federal elections have already poured nearly $318 million into spending on presidential and congressional races as of Jan. 14 — more than six times as much as had been spent at this point in 2020.

One might actually be a candidate for the people, of the people, but if the people he or she is of and for, DO NOT have enough money to support those candidates, too fucking bad. If, however you are a candidate for the WEALTHY people, well DUDE you have it made!
