I had to choke when reading that one of the conditions, set, by Rudy (give me back my 15 minutes of fame) Giuliani, for Trump to speak to Special Council Robert Mueller, was that Trump not be UNDER OATH…I suppose choke was a mild choice of words, as vomit, stop breathing, and suicide were most probably the words and feelings dancing, or was it zooming throughout my brain and body! The Free Press (and one has to wonder and worry just how long those two words will remain as daily jargon in America) has captured at 3300 lies told by Trump since becoming the guy sitting in the Oval Office, so the mere, sheer, audacity for Rudy to even suggest that Trump not be asked to speak UNDER OATH, is mind boggling…EXCEPT, I suppose in TrumpLand where lies blossom like weeds, who the fuck has any use for UNDER OATH!
Then, in anticipation of some new revelation on which lie is the lie of the day or the “Blue Plate Special” lie, I decided to try a little bit of AM JOY on MSNBC. Joy always being a staple for some sanity and honesty, I was hoping to find out that Ivanka and Jared had been subpoenaed (I know Ivanka is the Princess and God forbid should the long arm of the law seek her out, and according to Rudy the American public will go bonkers, so we will be in the throws of a Civil war or maybe the French Revolution…are we sure it wasn’t Ivanka who said let them eat Kosher cake, and not Marie Antoinette), BUT alas alack, Joy and her panel were being all FARMISHT (Yiddish word for, mixed up, confused, crazy) regarding yet one more wanna be famous jerk, Kanye West and his pronouncement that, damn man after 300 years, it seems slavery must have been a choice, comment. Oh, America, what is next. So, now as the media loves to do, they pick up on the irresponsible musings of stupid people, (in this case a prone jerk who feeds upon the 15 minutes of fame attention and who is about to release an album), and pretend the real news is about the audacity of Kanye West to admit just how much lack of history he has learned and how much attention he desires. So, as the all Black Panel on AM Joy perseverated on the idiocy of Mr West’s remarks, playing right into the hands of right wingers, by trying to explain how slavery was not a choice (just like those who spend time defending the Jews for not having been members of the NRA during the days of the Holocaust), I sighed, felt that wave of anger rise, and I instead switched to one of my many Zombie movie choices, drank my protein shake and relaxed. Zombies, even blood sucking flesh eating monsters, CAN be stopped by a swipe to the brain!
What the fuck is going on America…seriously…the Earth is dying, democracy is on its last legs… the rights to women’s bodies are once again being debated, kids in Flint have lead poisoning…Puerto Rico is still without full power…tent cities are becoming common neighborhoods…the tax breaks have broken the poor,,,and Trump IS still sitting in the White House…Things are awful in this nation, when do we ALL of us begin to realize that!!!
