Hi Ellis, Max, and Kate, hope everything is going well for you. I am sure you know just how important of a man your daddy is when it comes to the US Government. He is in charge of a Committee in the House of Representatives that can set an agenda for all the rest of citizens who live in Utah and other places. Your daddy is a smart man and he knows the kind of powerful person he can be. Now your daddy is very proud of his Mormon religion which can a nice thing, as all religions try to help ALL of us discover right from wrong, truth from lies and to hopefully set an example of what is fair and equal. So I, just an average citizen wonder if next time you and your daddy go to church you might ask him a few questions for the rest of us, who can’t sit in church with you and your family.
Here are some questions, Ellis, Max and Kate, okay? Ask him when he and his fellow Republicans want to make the Endangered Species Act go away, how many animals might not be around for and your kids to actually see alive? See, the Endangered Species Act helps protect lots of God’s creation from dying out. Why by the time you three get to be your daddy’s age, there may be at least three dozen kinds of cool animals dead and gone. The ask your daddy why all the wonderful National Parklands don’t seem so wonderful for his Republican friends, as they want to permit big corporations to drill and mine and pollute this part of our country. Ask you daddy and i know this sounds silly, silly, silly is he a puppet for men who a lot of money? Then Ellis,Max, and Kate ask your daddy right before your church services start if poor kids should be able to get free lunches at school, so they have enough vitamins and nutrition to make their brains work harder and their bodies be strong, ask your daddy if poor kids deserve the same kind of educational opportunities as the three of you. And finally, Ellis, Max and Kate, turn to your mother Julie, two questions; now you can giggle and laugh when you do, ask her if she knows the word ENABLER? It sounds like a big word but it means someone who permits others to either harm themselves or other people, then ask your mother Julie why does she remain so quiet when your daddy wants to poison the air, permit the current president to lie.
