The Christian nation state of Mississippi, believes that the LGBTQ community comes from some very powerful planet in the Universe, (Maybe Uranus), because they have now put in place yet another law to keep the Gays from destroying the powers of the GOD of Christian's living in Mississippi, by PERMITTING, let me add LEGALLY PERMITTING, anyone in the service industry to discriminate against…well, PEOPLE LIKE ME : As passed, HB 1523 specifically carves out three specific religious beliefs to receive extra protection under law: opposing same-sex marriage, opposing sexual relations outside of a man-woman marriage, and opposing the legitimacy of transgender identities. The co-author of this Christians are a vulnerable minority in America the Mississippi, Phil Bryant added, “The far more plausible candidate for political powerlessness would be the devout Christian ‘Mom and Pop- Shop” owners organizations who are being bullied by…it is this loss of tolerance, this self righteous indignation, this vilification of a vulnerable religious minority that makes this chorus incivility so disgraceful.”
We all realize that Republicans may carry a copy of the Constitution next to their tin foil hats or their AlexJones TV Fan Club membership card, and many Republicans might even use the pocket sized Constitution as a place marker while reading the works of the great authors like Hannity, Kelly, O’Reilly, and Trump, but we also know very few of those same Republicans have read the Constitution. Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Here is the thing for those out in the world who think people like me make a THING out of something like this. Coming out as who you have always been your entire life can be hard, so hard that you try and out it off thus denying a life of true happiness. I am so tired of the old insecure heterosexual paranoia that states your being Gay is unnatural. I believed it was, did all I could to be natural..then realized the only unnatural thing was covering up my real self. Hate is hate don't dress it up with an AMEN at the end. I am a member of the LGBTQ community my powers do not usurp your God and if they do, maybe you should begin to pray to me!
