I can not take it

 Since it seems, all I have left, as an American citizen, is my outrage, I will post my anger, and frustration, even though, so far, the only people who will react are the people reading this, and so far the utter lack of reaction from Congress, is so deafening, it makes the sound of my heart racing echo in my ears!

The Los Angeles Times writes that, “Trump’s decision to send forces into Venezuela to capture Maduro and wife, is receiving condemnation from legal experts…that since that operation was conducted without congressional of United Nations approval-clearly violated U.S. and international law.”

As I read this, the sound of me rolling my eyes was so loud that my dog, Zoe, ran into my bedroom, where I am at my computer, and barked at me. Seriously, does anyone expect a Felon, an accused Rapist and Fraudster, to follow any law that he has no use for? 

I promised myself to try not to write one more blog about the fiasco which occurred today, Saturday, January 3, 2026, but when this headline from LA Times blurted across my phone, I could not hold back both my anger, and my BUT OF COURSE TRUMP IGNORES THE LAW facial expression.

Hmmm…and now what, Congress? Now what Republicans in Congress? Will you once again play lap dog for Trump, because you fear being primaried, rather than feel the courage to stand up for the values of the United States and its citizens!

He wanted Canada, he wanted Greenland, so instead he grabbed Venezuela.

And where oh where is Congress, as in especially the Republican majority in Congress? Laws have been broken, diplomacy has died, and the silence from the Republican majority of Trump sycophants is terribly loud!

So it seems one Trump crime has been committed, but his Republicans in Congress seem to enjoy permitting Trump crimes, because to do so, they seem to think it saves them their jobs.

In case anyone of low IQ wondered why Trump has done nothing to stop Russia from, in the meantime, running Ukraine, aside from the blackmail Putin must have on his Russian assets, Trump is parroting some of his favorite dictators.

We thought Trump’s vision for America in 2025 was bleak, well, now we witness his intentions to not only dismantle democracy, but decency, morals , values and the law in 2026!

In a time of personal crisis, Trump will use any lie or fabrication he can to try to survive, and once again try to fool his followers into looking the other way, rather than, in this case, the Epstein Files, the failing economy, tariffs, and his declining health.  While Trump brags about passing his THIRD COGNITIVE test, while Trump’s personal Attorney General delays and delays providing Congress and the victims, and the American people, honest, un-redacted copies of the Epstein File, Trump uses what he believes is his Executive prerogative:

Where has Congress been? No, let me say it in a better way, where the fuck has the Republican majority in Congress been…aside from weeks of vacationing during the Republican Government shutdown, and of course, their Christmas vacation? 

Bondi and the FBI missed their deadline to provide all of the Epstein Files, and what did Congress do, oops, again the Republican Majority do…just scold and threaten and warn, no jail time, no fines. What has the Congress done, oops, again the Republican Majority does nada zilch, relating to Trump declaring war on Venezuela. And where has Congress been, my bad, the Republican Majority relating to the mental and physical decline of Trump’s health, ABSOLUTELY nothing. 

So I beg the question: Trump has usurped his Executive privileges, Trump has told his private attorney Pam Bondi to ignore the will of Congress, and day by day, Trump’s capacity for a clear mind and healthy body fades and fades. And yet the Republican Majority in Congress, sits by with their heads still located up Trump’s ass!

 

 

 

A sight for sore eyes!

 As the American dream spins into a nightmare, a seemingly never-ending episode of the Twilight Zone, what does Trump do, of course, what he does best, party, while the rest of the nation reels and roils, from unaffordable health care, unaffordable groceries, unaffordable shelter, and unaffordable energy prices.

But those in attendance at his Palace in Florida each paid tons of money to both party with the pedophile, and party at the palace of pedophilia have little to worry about the affordability of almost anything. Nope, these folks who either donated to Trump’s campaign, curried private favors from the Trump Crime Family, or paid his going rate to receive some kind of pardon, were having a blast. Democracy be damned, all hail The Oligarchy!

I have witnessed some of the videos from Trump’s second “Let them cake” extravaganza, the first being his Christmas Party, you know, when SNAP benefits and Food Assistance programs were being erased, and the word cringe is not sufficient. But one of the real kickers for me was a clip of some MAGA artist, dressed in her MAGA basic strapless black dress, standing in front of a canvas, dancing and painting a bizarre picture of Jesus Christ.

This person is known as the dancing artist, and as she gyrated to Vanilla Ice and the Ninja Turtles singing, she plastered paint on the canvas, shouting hallelujahs to Jesus!

And then, when this Saint Vitus dance was finished. Donny the fraudster auctioned off this fiasco. Pretending he was actually going to spend money, he opened the bid at $100,000. But not to be outdone, the Elite who give zero shits about anyone who is not them, bid higher and higher. The final bid was $2.75 million.

A few things, first, ya gotta wonder who that $2.75 million is going to. And secondly, imagine if Trump said, " Let's raise money for those who can’t afford healthcare, or the homeless!

So, Trump’s personal favorite physician, Dr. Death Mehmet Oz, is pretending that you getting the flu is really your fault. Yep, just like COVID, once again, it is your fault if you get sick, and it is a stupid reaction on your part if you heed real medical advice, rather than the musings of Bobby Brain Worm Kennedy, and now reality TV Doctor Death Oz.

If Doctor Death Oz actually understood the Flu, and was actually living anywhere but within the Trump Ivory Tower he would certainly understand: “that the reason there is a new flu vaccine every year is that the flu virus mutates over time. This year's vaccine isn't a perfect match to the version of the flu that's currently circulating, but experts still recommend getting it to prevent transmission of the flu and lessen its severity if you do catch it. And while the Congress took another extended vacation, adding to the vacation they took when the Republicans shut down the government, and while the Christian Nationalists in the Republican Party were demanding that America become a more Christian nation, and while the Congress went home to celebrate with their families, and while the amount of money Congress pays for their heavily subsidized health care plan, remained the same; the rest of us, except for the billionaire Republican puppet masters, had to spend these past few weeks wondering just how expensive something as basic as health care would now cost us, and for way too many, I am certain a debate ran rampant as to which part of their expenses from food, to shelter, to utilities, to health could be paid for and which ones must they do without.

And now, as if none of the Republican members of Congress had anything to do with this dilemma, they are about to return to work (imagine being paid your salary and money for your retirement for not completing your assigned tasks and job description) with smiles on their faces, insisting to Americans, WE CARE ABOUT YOU!
