No Psychiatrist here, but for me, when any person believes they can shit and it will be your lucky day to clean it up, something has gone terribly wrong in the having a conscience department.

 

As a Capitalist, I also have to wonder, even with his billions and billions of dollars, how Musk might have to rethink his theory that hate speech has no consequences, ideology. Will it matter to Musk to lose billions OR might it matter more that his ego might suffer, by real people owning real empathy, leaving Twitter, replaced by folks who honestly spend more time praising Hitler, hating anyone who is not them, and voting for a political party that once it establishes a super majority will disband Democracy?

Democrats, it seems love to linger in the headlines when somehow the news about polling is favorable to and for them. Bragging and boasting become a bit obnoxious, I believe, as all of that chitter and chatter is like hot air, it will rise, and once it is all is used up it will fall. I read the news and one headline after the other talks about ELECTION DENIERS, ONE MORE CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AGAINST TRUMP, HATE TOWARD JEWS, HATE TOWARD IMMIGRANTS, HATE TOWARD THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY, HATE TOWARD WOMEN. ALL these bouts of bigotry and bias spewing from the mouths and actions of REPUBLICANS

 

I know I rant and rave. People like TUCKER CARLSON, actually support a Tyrant like PUTIN, and his ratings remain high. There is little to no regard by the MURDOCH FAMILY, his bosses, to step forward and place the interests of freedom and democracy above dictatorship and demagoguery. Immigrants themselves, one might wonder why they can’t look in the mirror and embrace the democratic principles of their desired nation. But then again, CARLSON and the MURDOCHS are REPUBLICANS.

 

I know I rant and rave. REPUBLICAN Senators like Scott/Johnson/Cruz/Paul/ mutter and murmur that when and if they become the Majority Party they will do everything possible to slash or completely destroy Medicare and our Social Security System. If REPUBLICANS become the Majority then January 6^th Sedition cohorts like MC CARTHY/GREENE/GAETZ/GOSAR stand a chance to become chairpeople and set agendas for the next two years. These morally corrupt people have already bragged about wanting to set in motion attempts to arrest anyone they declare their enemy.

 

I know I rant and rave. REPUBLICANS continue to vote no on INFRASTRUCTURE/VOTING RIGHTS MEASURES/PRO CHOICE/INFLATION REDUCTION.

 

And yet, the latest polls are now telling us that come WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2022, the day after the American Mid-Term Elections, the REPUBLICAN PARTY may gain enough seats in CONGRESS and become the MAJORITY PARTY IN THE HOUSE AND SENATE. That is exactly why NOW and BEFORE I indeed RANT AND RAVE!

 GOP plan to cut Social Security, Medicare in 2023 comes into view (MSNBC) This IS no new news, this IS, rather, information that has been bandied about by the likes of Republican Senator Ron Johnson and Senator Rick Scott of Florida (Scott’s net worth is 259 million and Johnson’s net worth is 79.5 million). Neither man has any idea about living from paycheck to paycheck, prioritizing which bill will be paid from food, to shelter to health, nor any idea of what it means to be Middle Class, Poverty Class, or off the grid completely with regards to finance. BUT both Senators are Republicans, so as long as they pretend Christian Religion is the law of the land, Racism was penned in our Constitution, Women are chattel, and Democracy when handing Democrats a win is Fascism those whose own medical assistance and income will be denied…still vote for them.

 

I have no empathy for the stupid, but if enough of the stupid and of course the ultra-wealthy vote in favor of Senators Johnson and Scott and their ILK from the GOP, the quality of my life and your life is dire JEOPARDY!

Friendship or Fiend ship

 Learning about the evils of a spoiled brat, and growing up to be nothing but a powerful and ruthless dictator, I have my own Conspiracy Theory regarding the accused MURDERER of, Jamal Khashoggi, a US-based journalist and critic of Saudi Arabia's government, his born into Royalty. The current award of one bad seed sprouts from the tree of a just as MAD MAN for a father, the continuous and contemptuous-----Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud known as known as MBS or MbS, is Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

 

Of course, people like bin Salman Al Saud, surround themselves with another vile venom of the Earth, because lousy people only thrive in the company of other lousy people. So the Crown Prince found himself in a budding relationship with one of America’s most disgusting citizens, Jared Kushner a man who has proven that immorality, conniving, greed, gluttony, and sheer selfishness, are winning traits in America, especially within the realm of Republican politics. Favors, friendships, frivolous falsehood, and fortunes all at stake these two useless people attract each other as any maniacal magnet might. Trump, pretending to care about peace in the Middle East, chooses the nit-wit son-in-law, to pretend to broker a deal, which on paper looks ideal, but is not based on reality (similar to the numbers on Trump's financials) which when the fine print is read, results in nothing but a farce. But somehow it pretends to showcase how much of a world player the Crown Prince can seem. 

 

Now to MY CONSPIRACY THEORY. Because Trump, as President, denied any knowledge or facts that Salman Al Saud, was the man behind Jamal Khashoggi’s murder, and thus permitting Salman Al Saud to get away with murder, the Crown Prince owed Trump a whole lot. I believe the first repayment was in the form of cash, as in the 2 Billion Dollar gift, supposedly provided to Jared for some made-up bull shit, and of which I am certain Trump was given more than half of it. And now the second part of the payment is for The Crown Prince to help screw America by DECREASING Oil production, thus increasing gasoline prices, helping to raise inflation, and acting as a gift to the GOP in time for the Mid-Terms. With Jared and Trump if it ain’t good for them then fuck it!

Self Resignation

 Nury Martinez resigned as L.A. City Council president after audio of her making racist statements and disparaging other politicians was leaked. (Los Angeles Times)

Ms. Martinez is a Democrat. The majority of her LA City Council members are Democrats. The city government in LA has been and is Democrat. 

 

Democrats, who if they ignored the Racist remarks, would still remain the majority. HOWEVER, Nury Martinez who has stated she made racist comments, resigned from her position as LA City Council President and apologized, by admitting to her comments and not by using the usual, “IF YOU THINK I OFFENDED YOU, I AM SORRY FOR THAT.” 

 

REPUBLICANS, on the other hand, seem to be rewarded with the Racist/Bigoted/Homophobic/Misogynist/Anti-Sematic/Xenophobic they proudly make. REPUBLICANS on the other hand, never apologize for their ignorance but insist that those who complain about their ill will are nothing but snowflakes and the true reason why there is a divide in America.

 

I am not naïve that LA city politics within the Democrats have also played a part in this, but Nury Martinez apologized, and resigned…imagine for a moment if TRUMP, Greene, Gosar, Gaetz, and Cruz just to name a few had the courage to EVER admit their own failings, and act accordingly!

But instead, we watch as a wounded animal fuels the wires of murder and massacre, caring less for any innocent instead identifying them as combatants. I wish I could look away, but to do so I believe makes me as culpable as this EVIL INCARNATE, PUTIN!

 

Putin turns to his friends, abroad, a consort of criminals, each as ready to dismember the rule of law, justice, and of course equality. They can only survive, by figuratively and literally cutting the throats of real and imagined enemies. Putin’s group of friends, to name a few, include Ali Hosseini Khamenei the self-anointed Supreme Leader of Iran. This Putin ally establishes a Moral Police Authority masking his own Misogyny as religious dogma but somehow gives little moral support as his country’s Cruise Missiles murder innocent Ukrainian lives. Then of course Kim Jong-un, whose Granddaddy and Daddy bestowed the position of Dictator to him. So terrified of the truth he runs and hides. And never least, but last FOX News’s Tucker Carlson. America’s Tokyo Rose, and Axis Sally, both women who pledged support to either the Imperial Forces of Japan or the Nazi Regime during the Second World War.

 

And of course, these insecure narcissists have another common friend, named TRUMP. Be it a puppet and pawn for Putin, a devious dope for Jong-un, permitting Iran to continue with their nuclear program, or receiving his daily dose of 15 minutes of fame from Carlson, TRUMP is the weakest link, helping to keep this chain of fools strong!  And one more thing, it seems at least for me, that all of these men suffer from the “Where has my male genitalia went, syndrome.” I think these guys all have in common an uncertainty about their masculinity! 

 

COOL WHIP, again

 I will review the Cool Whip situation, once again. Cool Whip was an item, growing up, of which I never tasted, not had as a grocery item purchased by my parents. Not until I met Joe, my husband, had I even considered Cool Whip anything but a frivolous unnecessary frill. Cool Whip was one of Joe's favorite nonfood foods. After a few years of ignoring that blue and white plastic bowl and the white froth unfurled on top of cookies, or graham crackers, I decided to try a taste test, and, wham bam thank you, Gods, of man-made food, I became hooked. And thus a love affair with chemically induced Cool Whip began to flourish. 

 

Living in North Truro, a selection of nearby Grocery Stores is limited. Travel 10 minutes to Provincetown or perhaps 30 minutes off-peak time, about 45 minutes during the summer to Orleans. Our P-Town Grocery Store, during non-summer days, buy Cool Whip for as cheap as $2.25, from June to mid-October, spend at least $3.45. Same chemically enhanced sugary fluff in the same produced blue and white plastic bowl, the same trucks schlepping to P-Town every third or fourth day, same Grocery Store employees placing the Cool Whip inside the freezers. 

 

IT AIN’T ABOUT THE COOL WHIP. IT IS ABOUT inflating the cost of goods, increasing the profits, denying that greed is not a good thing, and pretending that once we say it’s a CAPITALISTIC characteristic, it should not be questioned. IT AIN’T ABOUT THE COOL WHIP. IT IS ABOUT, nothing ever trickling down, except water, ignoring the needs of the many to fill the pockets of a whole lot less, pretending that INFLATION is a natural phenomenon, insisting this man-created invention somehow has a mind and a will of its own.

 

Why is it that when prices go high, those already in a higher tax bracket see their profits go higher, but most anyone else does not? This is not a blog about either or, as in Socialism/Communism OR CAPITALISM; more of a commentary as to why not find some better kind of compromise so all of us can afford to eat, sleep, and stay healthy!

It may be folks who believe that society has doomed them to become a life form living on a self-perceived lower tier of the population. It may be folks who always find reason to blame their own inadequacies on anyone but themselves. It may be the less nurtured, those educated on dogma, bigotry, and fiction. It may be this group of people whose first response is usually claiming victimhood, their second recourse is to accuse others, and somewhere next within their limited range of options is violence, but look closely, it is often someone whose own background had permitted them the finer things in life, a status of preferred education, and the ability to look at the village of doom from some kind of Ivory Tower. Be afraid of STEWART RHODES. He is not a common man or woman. DeSatan

 The positive thing about Governor Ron DeSatan, running for office again, is that Floridians may actually receive some governmental relief from Hurricane Ian. Ron DeSatan has proven that his love for the common man or woman is not easily provided, and rather than be generous, he prefers to segregate a community…the straights from the Gays, the White Nationalist Heterosexuals from the Heterosexuals of color, the White Nationalist Christian Heterosexuals from Jewish/Muslim Heterosexuals.

 

Now, don’t take for granted, Floridians that this love affair between DeSatan and the government will last, because when DeSatan was a Congressman, he denied any kind of government intervention when Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey. DeSatan felt that somehow the folks in New Jersey hadn’t done enough to prepare for the Hurricane and that somehow, all the victims wanted to do was live off the dole of Uncle Sam. Be sad that Hurricane Ian hit Florida, but be happy that it hit during a re-election period in which Governor DeSatan is doing performance art.

 

Look closely at the ways in which DeSantan has governed Florida. “don’t say gay,” trans kids not on sports teams, don’t do drag, or ever let your parents tell you about drag, ban books, kidnap people who happen to be political immigrants, speak before White Nationalist Mobs…

When Justices are first nominated, and eventually confirmed, Justice Roberts, let’s be honest, that nomination and eventual confirmation are BOTH based on POLITICS. Often times the nominees are not quite qualified to be a first term Judge in Traffic Court. Too often, it has not been Judicious Scholarship as the reason for being nominated or confirmed, RATHER what side of POLITICS the Nominee, hangs her or his hat…on the right or on the left.

 

Precedent, Justice Elana Kagan said, is a "foundation stone of law," a doctrine of stability that "tells people they can rely on the law." But if, "all of a sudden everything is up for grabs, all of a sudden very fundamental principles of law are being overthrown ... then people have a right to say, 'You know, what's going on there? When fundamental principles become squashed with religious dogma, (especially within a nation based on no official state religion). When fundamental principles become smothered by personal indulgences as in thinking one knew exactly what the Founding Fathers intended for this nation, over 246 years ago. Life, liberty any pursuit of happiness, when offered and then removed by Justices assigned for lifetime terms, whose lack of accountability becomes blatant, and bully-like is nothing but a political backhand to America. Because the Senate refuses to act with conscience afraid of doing the right thing for groups of people, who are hated by their base, The Supreme Court no longer remains a separate branch of the government but is almost a clone of the Legislative Branch. As bad as that is, at least, if lucky, Americans can vote, ‘those bums out.’
