“He Gets Us” The He, IS Jesus, the Us, I suppose, is anyone who IS not Jesus. This commercial ran during the Super Bowl, and the, THEY, who produced this commercial spent about $17.5 to let US know that wasting money on personal whims and ego, seems to be a very Christian kind of “thingy.”

Critics have noted the campaign's welcoming and progressive messages seem at odds with some of its Christian funders, who have also supported anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-abortion causes. OKAYYYYYYYYYYYY. I must BEG THE QUESTION, Does He Get Us, if the US are women who have been raped and become pregnant or women who have been raped due to incest? Does He Get Us, if the US are Trans Kids who know who they are but are told to shut the fuck up? Does He Get Us if the US re families and children crossing the Rio into Texas and trapped and cut with razor wire? Does he get Us if the US are Jewish or Muslim? Imagine using the sum of $17.5 million to provide nutritious meals, shelter, debt relief, and clean clothes. A sleight of hand, if you ask me, a sucker born every minute, I believe, a slick version of the same old snake oil… Jesus may get us, and for those who believe in Jesus, I hope that is true, but HOLY SHIT, all of the billionaires who love hiding behind Jesus have no idea of who US really are!
