The Civil War is continuing within the United States, led by an authoritarian president and his own private police force. In this nation, we seem to have a combination of Nazi Germany and the Confederacy, both enemies of the state, tearing this nation apart.
It is no longer hyperbole, imagination, conspiracy, or exaggeration to say that Trump and his enablers have declared war against the democratic principles upon which this nation was founded.
Divide and conquer, us versus them has been the theme at first by the Republican Party, which has morphed into the MAGA Party, which eventually will be called the Trump Party. People of color are not as equal as Caucasians…Homosexuals are not equal to Heterosexuals…Non-Christians are not equal to Christian Nationalists…Women are not equal to Men…Poor people are not equal to Billionaires.
Trump has trained his cultists and the army of Republican politicians (more concerned about their own futures than those of their constituents) to act as the bully and find strength in victimizing anyone else who is not them.
