And while the Congress took another extended vacation, adding to the vacation they took when the Republicans shut down the government, and while the Christian Nationalists in the Republican Party were demanding that America become a more Christian nation, and while the Congress went home to celebrate with their families, and while the amount of money Congress pays for their heavily subsidized health care plan, remained the same; the rest of us, except for the billionaire Republican puppet masters, had to spend these past few weeks wondering just how expensive something as basic as health care would now cost us, and for way too many, I am certain a debate ran rampant as to which part of their expenses from food, to shelter, to utilities, to health could be paid for and which ones must they do without.
And now, as if none of the Republican members of Congress had anything to do with this dilemma, they are about to return to work (imagine being paid your salary and money for your retirement for not completing your assigned tasks and job description) with smiles on their faces, insisting to Americans, WE CARE ABOUT YOU!
