Well now, for once, Scottie Bessent speaks the truth when he says, “we’re watching,” as in Big Brother is Watching, and we will place you on the Official Trump Enemies List, even if your billionaire corporation paid big bucks to bribe Trump during the election and even as he relies on corruption as he remains President.
Trump has stated that he does not want to be known as Herbert Hoover, the King of the US’s largest and most costly economic Depression in its history. So, even though Trump’s careless and thoughtless Iran War is the real reason the price of gasoline has risen, Scottie Bessent wants the guys (are there any gal CEOs in the Oil Cartel?) to understand that it is THEY who will be held accountable for Trump’s economic failures.
The Strait of Hormuz was open, then it wasn’t. There were no tolls or fees, and then there were. The prices of gasoline and other consumer goods were not as outrageous as they were, but now they are. There was no declared war on Iran, and then there was. But rest assured, none of this, that once was, and now there is, has anything to do with Scottie Bessent's current boss, Trump!
