President Donald Trump was interrupted by a heckler criticizing his controversial White House ballroom construction at a campaign rally ahead of the midterm elections.
A crowd member shouted at the president as he gave a speech on stage during a rally backing Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith in Corinth, Mississippi, on Oct. 26.
"Shove that ballroom up your fat a--," the person said.” (USA Today)
A blog of levity from me today: there is very little to laugh about, as I see it, regarding the upcoming Midterm elections in the United States- that is, if you really care about the future of democracy actually being saved. I grow more concerned each day, knowing that Trump does not want to lose power, does not want to go to jail, and does not want any truth about his decades of rape, pedophilia, theft, gifts, and perhaps being a Russian agent to ever be found out.
But at a rally in ruby-red Mississippi, a very brave heckler stood tall and shouted down Trump by saying, "Shove that ballroom up your fat ass!” My kind of hero, the kind of person who has had enough bull shit thrown his way, who is tired of wiping away the muck and mire of lies and corruption thrown at him by Trump and his enablers.
Trump pretended that this disruption was caused by a paid Democrat worker hired to provoke the audience. Actually, Trump claimed that this guy was paid the going fee of $250 to do so. (Ya gotta wonder where Trump pulled out that number…um…maybe from the Republican Party playbook!
Oh yeah, Trump was stumped for Mississippi Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, the person who, when asked about the high price of beef, replied, as a usual Trump acolyte might, by saying Too bad you are complaining about the cost of beef; do you prefer Iran have a nuclear weapon. And then, as most Republicans often do, she added, " Go find cheaper ways to eat protein!
With seven days until we, as a nation, do or die, a little levity helps!
