scared yet

So all you independent voters out there and self described Republican/Conservative voters out there, you “vote the bums out” there voters, you I hate the Dems voters out there, hope none of you ARE: LGBT or Women who want reproductive rights, or Jews or like to masturbate or believe in the separation of church and state or disabled cause if you are any of the above or know any of the above when you demonstrate your anger by voting for the Tea Baggers or not voting at all you will have elected some really mean and malicious politicians into office. If you prefer separate but equal, a smaller government except when it comes to your bed room, your lover, your pension, your disability, your sexual pleasures you will have elected a bunch of dictator types who use their interpretation of the Bible and the bottom line for corporations to make laws for this nation.

Joe Miller Tea Bagger/Republican candidate for senate in Alaska:

God’s love is not reserved for people who have always had everything “straight.” Instead, God desires to have a relationship with those who have gone astray. And while there is a great price to be paid for our sin; God has already paid it in full. Hope can be yours today if you will open your heart to Him. (hope for homosexuals.com web site)

David Corn at Mother Jones keys in to Alaska Republican Joe Miller's views on gay rights issues. Miller himself keeps pretty mum on the subject, though in a letter to voters he defended a pastor who claimed that "homosexuality is a sin, and therefore immoral."

But whatever his views, he paid $2,500, for consulting services unknown, to a veteran anti-gay activist named Terry Moffitt, who runs a project called Hope for Homosexuals. (TPMDC).

Sharron Angle Tea Bagger/Republican for senate in Nevada:

"The tenet of the separation of church and state is an unconstitutional doctrine," she said.

"The separation of church and state arises out of the Constitution," Ralston replied.

"No it doesn't, Jon," Angle said. "Thomas Jefferson was actually addressing a church and telling them through his address that there had been a wall of separation put up to protect the church from being taken over by a state religion, and that's what they meant. They didn't think they couldn't bring their values to the political forum, and it didn't mean that people with religious beliefs shouldn't have that freedom."(washington post)

Ken Buck Tea Bagger/Republican candidate for senate in Colorado:

We then turned to news coverage of Buck's public statements. Buck has said in response to questions from voters that he opposes abortion and that includes pregnancies that result from rape or incest.

"I don't believe in the exceptions of rape or incest. I believe that the only exception, I guess, is life of the mother," Buck said. "And that is only if it's truly life of the mother. To me, you can't say you're pro-life and say -- if there is, and it's a very rare situation where one life would have to cease for the other life to exist. But in that very rare situation ... we may have to take the life of the child to save the life of the mother. In that rare situation, I am in favor of that exception. But, other than that, I have no exceptions in my position." (politifact.com)

Christine O'Donnell Tea Bagger/Republican candidate for senate Delaware:

As the founder and president of the Savior's Alliance for Lifting the Truth (SALT), O'Donnell embarked on a campaign to rid the world of masturbation. Video of her appearance on an MTV program has been making the rounds on the Web. In it, O'Donnell proclaims, "It is not enough to be abstinent with other people, you also have to be abstinent alone," adding, "The Bible says that lust in your heart is committing adultery, so you can't masturbate without lust." (aolnews)

Rand Paul Tea Bagger/Republican candidate for senate in Kentucky:

Paul was asked whether he supports the Americans with Disabilities Act, the landmark 1990 legislation that established a prohibition of discrimination on the basis of disability. Paul said he advocates local governments to decide whether disabled individuals deserve rights. Requiring businesses to provide access to disabled people, Paul argued, isn’t “fair to the business owner.” Later in the interview, when asked if he believes Americans have a right to use the 2nd Amendment to violently overthrow the government, a Paul staffer physically intercepted the recording and shuffled Paul away: (think progress)

Richard Iott Tea Bagger/Republican candidate for Ohio District 9 Congress:

Like a lot of people, I was both dismayed and amused by the news that a Tea Party-approved candidate for the House used to spend his weekends in a Nazi uniform re-enacting the exploits of a Waffen SS unit in World War II. The amusement came from seeing a bunch of middle-aged, suburban beer bellied slobs playing dress up like they could have survived ten minutes on the Eastern Front. The dismay came from the fact that they were not re-enacting a regular Wehrmacht unit, but one from the Waffen SS, the military arm of the institution responsible for carrying out the Holocaust. Not only that, the material on their website claims that members of the original Wiking unit were just doing their patriotic duty: (alter net)

Scared yet? No? Really disappointed in the Dems because they they did not live up to their promises? They at least can say words like Gay, Jew, Abortion, Sex, Disability, Social Security without adding bad, unpatriotic, sinful ending, wrong. I am angry with my President and his majority party for not ending DATD or DOMA but I am scared that if the Tea Bag Brigade under the tutelage of such renowned idiots as Sarah Palin and Newite Gingrich take control of this government my status as a second class citizen will become one of a third or fourth class American. It is almost Halloween and the bunch of monsters parading on the political stage are scarier and more frightening then any creature created in Hollywood.

I am more afraid of those who will look the other way by not voting, by those who will teach a lesson to the Dems, to those who do not mind that America will turn into a hateful Christian oriented, run by CEO’s marketed by FOX News nation. The Nazi’s were voted into power by the electorate who was sick and tired of career politicians, then democracy died and the disenfranchised voter either was sent to a work camp or just simply disappeared.

There is a lot of evil out there and I will settle for the lesser of the two hoping that my rights stand a chance. Halloween comes and goes, but once we elect the Tea Bag/Republican candidates into office I just wonder if we will have the chance to vote again.
