So, Trump jokes that Pence would like to hang Gays. No confirmed sources, just a joke about people like me. No need to be offended because well, its Trump, and EVERYONE knows Pence is a devout Evangelical Christian, and EVERYONE understands Trump ISN’T, but nonetheless, Trump enjoys teasing his VP, and what better subject to joke about than the LGBTQ community. Hanging the Gays, what a novel and precise way to rid the world of a demographic of human beings, of American human beings. I suppose concentration camps are so yesterday, and even though the Religious Freedom Act can assist in firing the Gays, denying the Gays from fostering or adoption, and it can certainly stop those Gays from being a consumer in your shop. So hanging Gays, kind of novel, but hey, it’s here say, just Trump being stupid, and Pence believing in Dominions (a group of Christian political ideologies that seek to institute a nation governed by Christians based on their understandings of biblical law). Don’t be so shocked, Roy Moore, the guy who won the Republican Primary for a Senate seat from Alabama bragged about the only law he will defend is that of his Bible.
Remember that time American history when a bunch Christians decided it would make for a better country to hang the Negro. It was God’s justice according to these Southern Baptist bullies. Rid society of the Negro (making life safer for white women), and doing God’s bidding at the same time. No real attempt at first to stop the hanging of the Negro from those in political power. So a few sinners die, didn’t it make America greater back then.
It took me a long time to come out of the closet. I will admit a lot of that hesitation came from me, but a whole other lot of it came from the culture, the religion, and the government at the time. Police raided Gay Bars, movies and TV depicted Gays as sociopaths, drug induced villains ready to rob your heterosexuality from you as you slept. ALL religions renounced the homosexual, it was unnatural, a sin, a mistake, something you had to beg your God from which to cure you. Even the Constitution made no mention of the homosexual, so who are you going to call to protect you. I AM so out of the closet NOW, that I have no idea where it was once located. But I am not going to let ANYONE try and push me back into it. A joke, to hang Gays, Mr Pence, it ain’t so funny! Just a pathetic plea from an insecure man! For all of YOU who voted for Trump/Pence who tried to reassure some of your best Gay friends that we had nothing to worry about, if by now you have not come to the conclusion YES in fact there IS PLENTY to worry ABOUT, then you are as much the problem a a bunch of brooding homophobes. MY AMERICA is filled with EQUALITY not a bunch of BIGOTS!
