When my younger sister and I were very young, I remember my mother introducing, to us, something called a tongue twister. Her favorite little ditty was both a tongue twister and at first a mystery…”How much wood, could a woodchuck, chuck, if a woodchuck, would chuck wood?” Amazement, and awe, the first few times we heard this sing song question. My sister and I took pause, and I remember both of us trying to first repeat the same sounding words and then actually trying to figure the precise amount of wood to be chucked. Then DUH, a few times after the original serenade, my sister and I finally understood the uselessness of this stupid rhyme, and insisted that my mother stop treating us with such silly baby banter. (but of course when my kids were young I began asking them the same questions regarding woodchucks, and the amount of wood chucked).
Once again, the guy hacked into office by Putin and his paid for puppet McConnell and the RNC, has created more mayhem, announcing a Trade War. Once again, another “only the best” people involved with the Trump Administration has been questioned by Mueller, and once again “only the best”, staff have either been fired or quit working for the White House. Once again, more indictments and once again more denials of any wrongdoing, of collusion, money laundering or obstruction of justice, from the mannequin known as Sarah Huckabee Sanders and or the other Legion of Doom used to confuse the FOX Viewers or the paranoid folks sleeping with their assault weapons of war and awaiting doomsday. Once again a rhyme, a riddle, a useless symphony of the same shit, with absolutely nothing being done to fix it, except JUST repeating it over and over and over again.
We all know, (well maybe not the people who donate to the 700 Club, or believe Trickle down economics actually trickle down, or the very wealthy who somehow think a polluted earth will not affect their own generations, or those who only offer thoughts and prayers to stop gun violence), but the rest of us know, or SHOULD know, by now, that Trump will not change, will not compromise, and in understanding that we should stop trying to urge him, as well as his inbred base to change. The woodchuck will chuck wood, so lets start taking away the food source by going after the Republicans and the Corporations who are nothing more than enablers to chuck wood.
