Trump is a product of the reality TV phenomenon, a scripted line of words, all with just the right camera angle, immediate negative situations, with a few choice words, but an even quicker resolve of the immediate drama. The viewer’s of reality TV, like a happy ending, where the so called villain, is finally framed so everyone at home can shout “boo”!
So, Trump, most likely with the permission from Putin (amazing how there were no fatalities in Syria), found the evil monster, Assad and the Chemical Weapons, and declaring mission accomplished, just told the reality TV viewers that Trump saved the day. However, all the time between the first day Trump took office, and yesterday’s strike, where has Trump been on saving the lives of the Syrian refugees? Lets be honest, what is more dramatic, the “shock and awe” of buildings exploding, fire in the sky, or the empathetic and sympathetic acceptance of stranded children, woeful families, discarded humans seeking asylum.
Nope, I have bought the bait. Trump needed cover, Putin understood that Trump needed cover, so an airstrike. Now, only now…sorry!
