about the senator

Another shooting, but no big deal, it happened in Jacksonville Florida, but two weeks prior another shooting had taken place in a high school stadium in Jacksonville Florida, so precisely much attention is one city supposed to be given when after all it was just a shooting and massive enough for all of the CABLE networks to run those ridiculous BREAKING NEWS banners. We had our fair share of Talking Heads, this time Ex-FBI/ATF/Police try to talk us through what might be happening, second-guessing, pontificating and providing us with war stories of how other events like this most recent murder spree finally ended. We had the usual Cable Personalities frown, emote and try their best to predict the ending way before the ending was evident. Its America, so shit happens, and when the shit is caused by a white guy or gal, it ain’t no big business, cause white people to need mental health treatment, whereas any other skin colored person is a terrorist or a thug. The new norm is to now showcase the murdered and place a placard of their face and their ambitions. Wham BAM, thank you, Ma’am, we have done our due diligence…because honestly what else can we do with Gun Violence. And oh yeah, Rick Scott, Florida governor, did extend his prayers and thoughts and said he would spare no expense in sending in the Troopers. Remember Rick Scott was also gonna, sorta, maybe have that roundtable talk when the time was right with the victim's families and the survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School war zone. And Floridians you now get a chance to vote Rick Scott as your newest Senator.

Senator John McCain has passed away after what has been described a horrible type of cancer. All cancer is awful, a cruel trick to the fabric of life, and to have loved someone suffering from any form of cancer is a real test of your own character and emotion. It is never easy to watch those you love hurt or so warped with pain. My condolences to the McCain Family, for their personal loss! Sorry to be a bitter Betty, but I am not precisely sure what John McCain accomplished that made America a more homogeneous nation. And in the most event years when Obama was president, I witnessed minimal bipartisan intention. Instead, all I saw was McCain taking marching orders from Mitch McConnell, who we are now discovering is most likely another Putin puppet. I get angry when I pretend any politician who had recently suffered a horrific kind of death to be an American hero.

The Republicans, now in the Senate, those who praise McCain for being a real American hero, can actually put action behind their almost empty or is it patronizing words, by making American democracy great again, the way they all verbalized how John McCain felt about this nation.  One more test, to discover if words from politicians mean anything more than a photo op, or sound bite, or just their mouths moving and sound erupting from their vocal chords. I would like to say time all tell, but WE, WE AMERICANS, are running out of time!
