The Supreme Court on Friday said it will not fast-track consideration of Donald Trump’s claim that he is immune from prosecution for actions he took as president, a question crucial to whether he can be put on trial for plotting to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
The court’s one-sentence order offered no explanation for turning down special counsel Jack Smith’s request for an expedited review, which he said was needed to keep Trump’s election-obstruction trial on track for early March. The order can be seen as, at least, a limited and temporary win for Trump, who has actively worked to delay the legal proceedings against him as he campaigns again for the Republican presidential nomination. Two of the so-called Justices, Alito and Thomas, are owned and operated by wealthy Conservative Republicans, three of the so-called Justices, are owned and operated by the Conservative Christian Nationalist group identified as the Federalist Society, and six of the so-called Justices, have made it perfectly clear that THEY favor THEOCRACY and FASCISM over any and any DEMOCRACY.
Consider what EXACTLY is at stake here, please… can an intentional insurrectionist, who helped plan and plot a coup, and has stated clearly that HE desires to become America’s first Dictator, be permitted to run out the clock, betting his odds that if time DOES run out, and if HE is elected as President, HE willfully will shun any and all laws, thus ignoring Justice, and as President, become KING/AUTHORITARIAN/DICTATOR, and just like the same so-called Justices remain in power for his lifetime!
If the so-called Justices actually practiced law and did not succumb to the wishes and wants of their Christian Conservative OWNERS AND OPERATORS, they would certainly see the relevance of settling this case sooner rather than later. But for John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Amy Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch, IT IS NOT THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE that matters, but rather the WANT AND WISHES OF THEIR PUPPET MASTERS!
