Two Songs SUNG

"The Gold Diggers' Song" (‘We’re In the Money’) is a song from the 1933 Warner Bros. Pictures film Gold Diggers of 1933.

We're in the money, we're in the money; We've got a lot of what it takes to get along! We're in the money, that sky is sunny. Old Man Depression you are through, you done us wrong. (Al Dubin)

Trump is rearming America. His sons are invested in the companies selling it weapons. The president’s two eldest sons are linked to investments in at least 10 defense firms that have drawn some $3.7 billion in federal funds since he took office — and no law requires them to step back. (MS NOW)

Donald Trump reported more than $1.6 billion in outside revenue and income during his four years as president, with a portion of that earned in his first year in office. (citizensforethics.org).

Razzle Dazzle, hocus pocus, now you see, and then you don’t. Nothing to see here, just keep on looking over there. Corruption, crime, grifting, and one more scam from the guy who the MAGA peons voted for to Make America Great Again, but wait, this so-called Populist is just making him and his family greater.

"Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?" is one of the best-known American songs of the Great Depression. Written by lyricist Yip Harburg and composer Jay Gorney, it was part of the 1932 musical revue Americana.

Cuts in Medicaid, cuts in SNAP benefits, cuts to USDA, housing costs rising, inflation at 4.2%. Since the elimination of the Affordable Health Care Act, health care premiums are rising and rising. Gasoline is way too expensive, and some folks have to prioritize a trip to the supermarket, or paying rent, or utilities.

Two songs written in the 1930s. One of them sung by the ilk of the trump Family and their Billionaire Bros, the other becoming a way too common anthem for the rest of America!
