Uh-huh! Yeah! Yeppers! A so-called Blue Wave is supposed to be heading our way, providing a chance to redirect this nation’s collision course into Fascism and veer it closer to Democracy. Wishful thinking, and the closer we come to the midterm elections in November 2026, the more it seems we are moving farther away from freedom and smashing into authoritarianism.
There are 37 days until the 2026 midterm elections, which will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The 2026 United States midterm elections will determine control of the 120th Congress. 37 days, and during that time period, starting well ahead of the final moments, I believe it will either make America truly great again or find America as a once-upon-a-time great nation, with Trump and his anti-democracy Supreme Court Justices waging war against fair and free elections.
The Supreme Court Has Just Made a Horrendous Voting Rights Decision That Could Drastically Swing the Midterms. Fair elections might soon become a thing of the past. “The Supreme Court ruled on Friday that the Trump administration can deploy an expansive online system that combines citizenship information, Social Security numbers, and other sensitive data about millions of Americans, including to allow states to use it to hunt for ineligible voters. Critics fear that using the system could result in the purging of large numbers of valid voters from state rolls, if states choose to use it ahead of the midterm elections.” (Esquire).
Men and one woman of the National American Christian ilk, spawn of the anti-American group The Heritage Foundation and inheritors of vast amounts of bribery money from Republican billionaires, have decided that to maintain their biased and bigoted control of power and to keep Trump the madman in power, our elections will no longer be decided by the actual American voter, but rather selected by the Reichstag of the Trump Gestapo.
Too much hyperbole on my part, NOT AT ALL. Voting is too democratic for dictators, and those who enable a dictatorship- money, power, us versus them, lies, and a true disdain of freedom for all is what this current crop of Republican Justices prefer.
Oh, yeah and if their tipping the balance of voting doesn’t work, be prepared for Trump to suddenly declare Martial Law a few weeks before Tuesday, November 3, 2026!
