Video shows Little Leaguers hitting the ground as gunshots ring out during tournament. A weekend active shooter scare at a sports park hosting North Carolina's Little League championships has shaken some of the participating teams enough that they've withdrawn. Dramatic video of the incident obtained by NBC affiliate WITM of Eastern North Carolina shows elementary school-age children on the field hitting the ground at the sound of three gunshots. Some adults and children in the dugout and on the sidelines appear to repeatedly yell and scream, "Get down!" (NBC NEWS)
My kids are young adults. Right now I have no grandkids. When we chose to bus our kids while they were in Elementary School in Pittsburgh, all my ex-wife and I worried about was what if the bus broke down. My kids played sports in public parks, and all we had to worry about was an errant thunderstorm. And now thanks to the phony and hypocritical Republican professing Pro-Life (the life inside a womb), parents and grandparents must now worry about if their kids will actually arrive home from school alive, and if their afterschool activities will also find those children alive.
Even the GOP has ceased with their “THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS,” replacing them with tough luck!
