Once again, the WILD, WILD WEST has returned to Washington DC, and once again it is the mostly GERRYMANDERED House Republicans who have no regard for the majority of Americans, disregard for GOVERNING, and more regard to PLACATE the Fascist/Anarchist/Anti-American TRUMP. This GOP is always GRANDSTANDING, always PONTIFICATING, HUFFING AND PUFFING, always LYING about their motives pretending that their AGENDA is POPULIST while demonstrating, how it is only their PERSONAL ambitions that matter!
Congress left Washington Friday for the long holiday weekend with a fragile plan to prevent a government shutdown next week, as a revolt over spending brewed among hard-right House Republicans. Funding for 20 percent of the government is set to expire on Jan. 19, and the rest expires on Feb. 2. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) have agreed on an overall $1.66 trillion spending deal for the 2024 fiscal year, but lawmakers won’t have time to enact it before the deadlines. (Washington Post)
Once again the people supposedly responsible for “WE THE PEOPLE,” have left their offices, taking a vacation, providing “WE THE PEOPLE,” with their MIDDLE FINGER, ignoring the FACT that very, very, very soon, our GOVERNMENT will face SHUT DOWN. This SHUT DOWN is not a surprise, not a sudden out-of-the-blue happenstance, not an avoidable situation, but one more LACK OF RESPECT FOR GOVERNING, mainly by the House Republicans.

I mean, there’s no way to spin a partial government shutdown as anything other than Republicans in the House of Representatives can’t govern,” said Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-N.D.). “What is it that they don’t understand about governing and getting something done?” asked Rep. Rosa DeLauro (Conn.), the top Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee. “They don’t want to do nothing. They don’t know how to govern. They truly do want to shut the government down. No one on our side wants to do that. We’re trying to work very hard to get to sit down and get to a deal. It’s really, really incredible. … They should look for another job.” (Washington Post)
All this Congress seems to do is TAKE TIME OFF, while they are paid for by the TAX PAYER, who actually desires to hire people to complete a job, and complete that job for the MAJORITY of the TAX PAYERS. Once again we are at the mercy of idiots, who prefer hypocrisy, and chaos and prefer stroking their own egos, and the ego of Trump over the health and welfare of the citizens of the United States.
