What have we become! Today, after reading the Tweets, some election results in the commentary from Trump and his advocates for hate, I had to ask myself, WHAT HAVE WE BECOME?
Schools permit kids as they might, guinea pigs, to try and see if they can survive the Hunger Games of the CORONAVIRUS, never mandating CDC guidelines, but instead watching the spread of the virus attack the student, the teacher and the entire structure of a school setting. Trump brags about controlling the virus yet lifts no Imperial Powered finger to insist on Federal actions which could quell a tsunami of death, doom, and destruction. Some crazed racist anti-Semitic xenophobe is gladly welcomed by Georgians, winning her race using every slur and tome of disgust to please her home-grown thugs, only to be welcomed by Kevin McCarthy the House Minority Leader as a valued Republican member.
Hired guards with guns now stand by emergency rooms in hospitals and some are now used to protect scientists and professionals, whose only crime is to tell us to be aware, be alert and be intelligent! Eric Trump, the son of a man who at least a dozen women have claimed raped them, who had cheated on two of his own wives, a man had his daughter perform a lap dance while sitting upon his lap, and who would do her, Tweets that Kamala Harris was ‘whorehendous’ pick by Biden!
Senators continue to receive full paychecks, all their benefits, many of them wealthy billionaires and many more who became wealthy from the bribes of Lobbyists money, ignore the struggles of every day Americans and tell us $600 is way too much money…go get a job! Trump lies and lies and lies, break one law after another, after another, and the silence from the Republican Party is deafening. Is my question incorrect, what have we become, or should it be stated, have we always been this way, and this time the petri dish had its cover removed and it permitted the bacteria to expand and escape!
