Elon Musk may be a very intelligent person with regards to electric cars, batteries, and rocketing to space, but as for me he is nothing more than a mere mortal wishing and hoping to lure the luckless into believing his snake oil is the REAL SNAKE OIL! I regard his overly charged brand of narcissism as dangerous as TRUMPS, and also believe Musk and TRUMP know a sucker when they see one and know even better how to market shyster and phooey to a breed of people who must have been raised on REALITY TV!
Musk made the statement that his tesla Inc would lower prices on his electric vehicles once Inflation is controlled. Now my IQ may not be as high as MUSK’s, but my common sense tells me that “DAMN HOW THE HELL CAN THAT BE A THING!” First, if MUSK’s prices are higher than reasonable thought tells us and his higher prices actually feed into the Capitalistic machination of Inflation, shouldn’t he indeed, begin the process of lowering Inflation by lowering his price tags? I mean Elon, why wait for MAN INVENTED INFLATION to end, when you, acting as the all-powerful OZ, can begin that domino effect, as I see it you still are a man and not some God on Olympus! If Twitter is an example of talking big and not following through, I might imagine all mighty in his own mind, (and sadly for way too many people who think being a billionaire equates to values, morals, and common sense), might consider his role in helping end Inflation. Let’s be real America, Inflation is not oxygen-based, has no heartbeat or blood flowing through it. Greedy people created Inflation pretending that somehow, it is a feature of nature, and thus NATURAL!
Provincetown is the big town located 5 miles from me. Summertime is the main season for shops to make their bottom lines. Three weeks ago, tourism was basic, no theme week just daytimers visiting and a few other visitors. Joe and I love Cool Whip, and three weeks ago, our grocery store, Stop and Shop, could not give away Cool Whip, and actually offered it at $2.00. Three weeks later, lots of people have arrived in P-Town, and now Cool Whip sells for $4.00. Hmmm, let me understand this, Cool Whip Factories had broken down, the food in the chemical industry stopped making any artificial crap, and Cool Whip is going to be banned? NOPE, NADA, ZILCH none of that, just plain old greed, supply and demand, and artificial pricing pretending to be something SWELL, oozing from Capitalism. So Elon, if your great idea is to pretend that you care about inflation, start by fighting it, and lower your prices FIRST!
