First, we attacked Iran because we demanded regime change, then we didn’t. Then we were told that if we didn’t attack Iran, the Israelis would have, and if they did so, then the US would have had to come to the Israeli’s aid, and we would have been on defense rather than on offense, and that would have made the US military look weak. Then we were told that we needed to claim possession of the oil fields first and foremost, to immediately provide the Iranian people their fair share of oil profits. And of course, we attacked Iran because even though the first time we decimated Iran’s nuclear program, somehow we needed to go at it again and re-decimate it!
And oh yeah, scattered in between all of those propaganda talking points, we heard some bull shit about protecting the protestors in the streets, and we knew that by doing so, the US could help bring to the front real revolution and freedom.
We have heard day after day, death and destruction after death and destruction, a myriad of reasons why Trump decided to attack Iran, all culled and collected as a cover-up because, maybe except for Trump, no one, and I believe even the US Military, has no idea why we are there.
But forget all of that because on Sunday, March 15, 2026, demented Don, the guy with absolutely no plans, zero ideas, stated the following: Donald Trump drew a backlash on Sunday for suggesting US efforts to protect the strait of Hormuz were unnecessary – and that “maybe we shouldn’t even be there at all” because his country has plenty of oil of its own. “Really, I’m demanding that these countries come in and protect their own territory – because it is their territory,” he said. “They should come and they should help us protect it. You could make the case that maybe we shouldn’t even be there at all, because we don’t need it. We have a lot of oil. We’re the number one producer anywhere in the world times two.” (The Guardian)
