Donald Trump’s threat last night to sign an executive order to pay TSA workers was, perhaps, a signal of where things were headed. “If the White House believes they have the authority to pay these workers, then every day for the past 41 days, they have been making a conscious decision not to pay them,” House Appropriations ranking member Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) said last night, which was about right.
SPRING BREAK, or as the Senate likes to refer to it, our necessary time to take a break from the tedious and tiresome work we have done as the Legislative Body of Government. Perhaps as it should be called, what the fuck, you douchebags, all you have accomplished is to permit the Trump Reich to commit crimes against democracy and the Constitution. And once again, you pretend that you have worked so fucking hard and deserve a vacation.
A Trump created war rages, gas and grocery prices have grown, ICE continues to murder people and get away with it, voter freedom is being discarded, and NOW Congress, you have the audacity to take a SPRING BREAK. What the fuck, are you just a bunch of careless and carefree college students?
Suddenly Trump gives a shit, suddenly Congress is thrilled that a Trump and republican crisis is over, and suddenly you CONGRESS think that you deserve a vacation.
Come on, America, get a backbone and fire each and every Congressperson for their irresponsibility and intentional middle finger to all of us!
