Not even been re-elected to the office of president, and so far it seems a likely chance that might happen, and this THUG and DOMESTIC TERRORIST is demonstrating his convoluted concoction of authoritarianism, and anarchy with a dash of dictatorship. I would rather not have to spend my time discussing this PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE, but DAMN, I MUST, continue to yell and scream, bite my nails, shake and shiver, BECAUSE, the TRUMP SHIT SHOW, is certainly not slowing down, and it seems certain to GET HUGE!

 

I am totally confused at just how this PYSCHOTIC PSYCOPATH, goes on and on and on just the Energize Bunny. I try to add some levity, lots of snark and sarcasm, to try and place my hands around this SNAKE OIL SALESMAN, but fuck, he is still selling his snake oil, and NO ONE SEEMS able to stop him.

 

Those of us in America of 2023, who actually try to both play by the rules and abide by those rules, have taken quite a few Knock Out Punches, from the MAGA-TRUMP Republican Party and their Right-Wing Insurrection-loving Loving Puppet Masters, and the Republican Puppet Politicians. From the Right-Wing Supreme Court Activists Judges to the Right-Wing Propagandists, to city, state, and Federal supporters of a Fascist America, no law they dislike stands a chance, and any law they desire can and will be eliminated or replaced. When the White Supremacists talk about REPLACEMENT THEORY, it is one more admission on their part bragging out loud about what they intend to do, these GOP goons, plan on replacing our Constitution and remain loud and proud in their intent to do so.

 

TRUMPS Klansmen and Klanswomen are smart enough to try and use the US Constitution as an honest mechanism to pretend somehow that law and order pertains to even the most CONSTANT OF CRIMINALS, even as that most CONSTANT OF CRIMINALS, CONTINUOUSLY AND CONSTANTLY pledges to eliminate the US Constitution.

We are told that large donors (or is the correct word OWNERS) of Politicians, are souring over TRUMP, not because of his desire to become a Tyrant of America, but only because he may not win, thus providing these creeps, the power and permission to help wipe away democracy also.  Here it is, the actual deer in the headlights has actually smashed into our car and we are actually falling off the cliff!

Glaciers melting, Insurance companies no longer providing coverage for environmental disasters, demographics of the very young and old, suffering health issues, crops dying…And yet, because money and the people or corporations who horde that money, still play the game of it is all a hoax. Really, those who profit from climate change, who have the profits to pave a safer way most likely for their futures saying, “Hey Peasants do not worry, and hey Politicians, pay no attention toward those Peasants, and too many sheep seem to follow.

Reading about their apocalypse bunkers, vampiric longevity strategies, outlandish social media pronouncements, private space programmes and virtual world-building ambitions, it’s hard to remember they’re not actors in a reality series or characters from a new Avengers movie.

Unlike their forebears, contemporary billionaires do not hope to build the biggest house in town, but the biggest colony on the moon. In contrast, however avaricious, the titans of past gilded eras still saw themselves as human members of civil society. Contemporary billionaires appear to understand civics and civilians as impediments to their progress, necessary victims of the externalities of their companies’ growth, sad artefacts of the civilisation they will leave behind in their inexorable colonisation of the next dimension. Unlike their forebears, they do not hope to build the biggest house in town, but the biggest underground lair in New Zealand, colony on the moon or Mars or virtual reality server in the cloud. Scientists often say that cockroaches will most likely be among the few species on Earth to survive the next nuclear war. These avowed pests of mankind, who always seem to live a parallel life among the civilized societies, taking advantage of food and shelter established by the civilized society, always seem to take and very seldom give back. It makes me wonder, as the 1% percent seems to increase in wealth, purchasing everything from real estate, to influence and to Politicians, what exactly have they given back. Their tax breaks always seem to increase. Their carbon print always seems to grow. Their self-serving/selfishness always seems to expand. Their power, the sheer weight of their wealth always seems to explode. And of the many billionaires exactly what percentage of this demographic, has given much back to the rest of the world? I am not anti-Capitalism, but I am certainly anti-Greed.

 

I honestly must beg the question, “How much is too much, and how much more does one truly need?” I mean come on cockroaches, you eat our food, you live in our shelters, and what do you give back…nothing. Maybe I am just thinking of the purpose of cockroaches as I wonder about Billionaires!

I am upset at the innocents within Gaza who have been killed, harmed, and terrified. Should it be however, that Israel just stop and turn back, pretending that as has been the history of the past, Hamas will as quickly as cockroaches might, once again infest the recesses of Gaza and plot, plan, and attack once more, once again, and always. Is the only answer, the one answer that most of the world insists upon, that Israel, just pack their bags, look away, and then walk away…permitting Hamas to hide beneath the hospitals, schools, and homes of the innocents in Gaza?

 

When will the Arab nations and the nations of the world who never seem upset that the Jewish State of Israel is attacked, but scorn the Jewish State of Israel for defending themselves, become as assertive in their words and deeds towards the Terrorists identified as Hamas? When?

As I read the entirety of this article a few things stood out. The average term length for this group of “I WANT OUT,” House members is about 12 terms. 12 X 2 equals 24 years that these same people, have served in Congress. 24 years as in a major part of your professional career has been in the House of Representees. As in “Ya didn’t see this happening?” As in where the fuck were you before the fact, rather than after the fact?

 

Another theme within this article is how these future retirees are just so sick of Partisan politics, as in others were acting in a Partisan manner. As in I never followed orders from my own Leadership. As in as long as following orders kept me in Congress, I followed orders.

 

And then this, some lawmakers of both parties have concluded that Congress is just not going to be a productive place, as in everyone else needs to work together. As in I wanted to play fair, but the environment was making me not play fair. As in “don’t blame it on me.”

 

How convenient, indeed. These Politicians wanna be elected, and become “Muckers,” (big shots), until it becomes more convenient to quit. Hmm, so here is my remedy, I mean I am just an American citizen, so what do I know, or is it, what makes me think I should know anything about our Congress?

 

Here is my remedy for the sudden, “I can’t believe my eyes,” current crop of Congress People. Give them 4 years to make a difference, instead of having to fundraise and run every two years. After four years, if they are lousy then it is someone else’s turn to try. And if they were decent, let them run again waiting a few years to do so. Stop making Gerrymandered Districts legal. Lousy Congress people, usually come from places where there is no real competition and no real motivation to do the people’s business. Oh and finally remove Dark Money, Light Money, and Any Money from bankrolling and owning these Politicians, cut those damned puppet strings. Try doing this as in actually making the voters a priority!

LOOK CLOSELY, if you will, at the timeline for the US Gilded Age…uh-huh…it started in the 1870s and lasted until 1900. HUH, but those conditions seem as if we had been reading the headlines from today’s news outlets, and today is anywhere from 123 to 153 years later. WTF, Ya’ mean way back when Greed was as American as Apple Pie. Gluttony is as Patriotic as the red, white, and blue. Grifting is as important as Motherhood and Picket Fences. Free Markets for who, exactly, I mean it becomes way too expensive when the FREE part of Free Markets, is only geared for the very few people who own those markets. Government and Business Corruption, as in Dark Money, PACS, Pay to Play and Lobbyists, so any Politician may say he or she is working for the people, but then those people turn out to be Corporations. And “chuckle, chuckle,” indeed as we say the words “American Exceptionalism,” as in American competition is what makes us great, ummm, who you gonna compete with when way too many of the competitors have billions of dollars, hundreds of high prices attorney’s, and pockets full of Politicians. 

 

In United States history, the Gilded Age is a term coined by Mark Twain and used by some historians to refer roughly to the period from 1877 to 1900, which occurred between the Reconstruction Era and the Progressive Era. I can only imagine Mark Twain somewhere in the universe, just shaking his head!
