Before the rise of Trump I had never heard the name General John Kelly. Okay, I thought, Trump who has an S&M fetish for the Military and generals in particular (usually you have the fetish because you wish you could be that idealized thing, or you think if you have control over it, it makes you as powerful), so it made sense that Trump wanted to surround himself with men who had HONESTLY demonstrated power, not the kind that entails grabbing them by their female parts. Trump also began to call upon a few Generals, which not only proved my belief in Trumps Military Fetish, but began to concern me that the way Trump sorts things out, he might have considered the fact that having, as he calls them “His Generals”, Trump was thinking maybe i could have a coup and My Generals could help me me this My Country. But, that WHOLE bunch of shit is another BLOG or at least a dozen other BLOGS. Back to John Kelly.
As has been the role of the Talking Heads in this nation, the men and women who supposedly are either Democrat or Republican pundents, or work for the various political party’s When General Kelly was made Chief of Staff, we were told, with a great big swipe of sweat from the forehead, that finally an adult was entering the room, and that room being the Oval Office. The same pundents and Talking Heads had still pretended that all the lies during Trumps Campaign, all the missing information regarding Trump prior to his campaign, and all of the weird and worrisome stories about Trump would either go away or that trump would chad could be reigned in by (now this IS laughable) the Republican leadership. Somehow along the way from the campaign to the elections the talking heads and Pundents discovers amnesia and swore with their coiffed hairdo’s and appropriate amount of jewelry or in their $2000 suits that Trump was certainly not fit to sit in the clown car from which he came , but not in the Oval Office.
Now, a year later, ALL of us have discovered EXACTLY who John Kelly is and the lack of morals he brings to the office of Chief of Staff. Kelly is a sad sack of Racist Man, who treats women as if they were some reward for being a solider and winning a war. His resentment to the Immigrant is embarrassing, his permission to let his Secretary Rob Porter remain on the payroll and in a security position after the FBI informed Mr Kelly that Mr Porter was abusive and could be blackmailed, is an insult to this nation. And as usual, Mr Kelly’s first response, of protecting a man who beats up his wives and lies about it, just plane Trumpian. Never pretend to apologizee, and never apologize after the public demands it, if in fact YOU knew all along the guy you hired to work for you was always an ASSHOLE and a COWARD. General Kelly, oops Mr Kelly is just one sham, and one more slam against this nation of ours. He is certainly NOT the adult in the room!
