By now, most of us with EVEN WITH moderate education, a bit of common sense, fair to middling child rearing, semi lack of social interaction and at least a fifth grade study of American history, should UNDERSTAND, just hoe dangerous a situation this nation is facing with the man who is currently sitting in the Oval Office. ALL of us knew going into the 2016 election that Trump lied, and was completely over his head in running his own businesses let alone our country. By now anyone who understands that the Earth is indeed round, that you don’t have to pay God to have him watch over you, that, evolution IS a thing as well as climate change, even if it snows and is cold outside, and that to launder money has nothing to do with dry cleaners, unless that IS the front you use to exchange the bribes, the blackmail and the corrupt money you have secretly stolen! By now if you breathe oxygen, know the difference between day and night, your right hand from your left, you too should understand that Trump could give a rats ass about this nation and only is concerned and always has been concerned with how much he can gain from the system.
But here is the thing, you ALSO, should be aware of. Trump may have the title of Commander-In-Chief, but he has not and never shall earn the respect that title once carried. This man is an ill individual only propped up by two pieces of concrete; the first being Vladimir Putin and the second, the very slimy, self-serving Republican Party. No matter how the Talking Heads, headline the latest MEMO, or TWEET, no matter how the so called Moderate Republicans wane and worry, no matter what new shocker makes the headlines, prompting and promoting fear and loathing, if the GOP really, did I say REALLY care about country first, None of the Trump/Putin/McConnell/Ryan/Nunes agenda would EVER see the light of day. Our government could work, if honestly could with its checks and balance, but the thing is the Republicans could give one’s rats ass if does. As long as we keep the Gays are sinners, women who want governance over their own reproductive body parts are whore, non Christians with dark skin are terrorists and Mexican are Rapists and oh yeah not every one in this nation is entitled to one-person-one vote, the GOP will not indulge in the morals and values upon which this nation was founded.
By now, most of us who have decided to swim out of the water and grow legs, understand there IS ALREADY A CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS, not one soon coming but one here. And because of the immediacy and emergency NEED to fight, as hard as we can to make change. We may want to respect the office of President, but no the guy sitting in that office, because he has no idea of anything but himself. It’s no longer about Trump, but ALL about the lack of the Republican leadership to take control and stop this madman. We can rant and rave and insist, but as long as the Republicans play politics with our lives nothing is going to change, at least for the better!
