Top aides of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton have asked federal law enforcement authorities to investigate allegations of improper influence, abuse of office, bribery, and other potential crimes against the state’s top lawyer. “We have a good faith belief that the attorney general is violating federal and/or state law including prohibitions related to improper influence, abuse of office, bribery and other potential criminal offenses,” (Austin American Statesman)
One of the features of the fractured legal system both on a Federal and Statewide basis is that the people elected or appointed to be either this nations’ Top Attorney or a state’s Top Attorney, have no need to practice law, but a penchant instead to either ignore the law or pars it so much that the word LEGALITY is meaningless unless it means an end to their own personal or political gains. To commit a crime, it seems is the real goal of Attorney Generals be they from the nation of America or the gerrymandered nation-state of Texas. Neither Willie Barr of the USA nor Ken Paxton of the gerrymandered nation-state of Texas, give an iota of interest in the welfare of democracy, the concept of the Constitution, nor the will of the majority of the people because the WILLFUL MISCONDUCT of Trump usurps anything that might equate to honest, fair and judicial.
I might have ignored this last-ditch deal to overturn democracy as another Giuliani Moment, like farting or hair dye, dripping, but the Attorney General of the gerrymandered nation-state of Texas, has not only tried to create chaos and mischief, he has conspired with the president, to try and actualize the Banana Republic, and install a dictator, all the while wishing to deny eighty million people their voice and vote. And as this latest farce is free to play its course, because NOT A SINGLE REPUBLICAN cares to place country before self, the lifeblood of our democracy is dripping at a fierce rate, similar to the ENTIRE LACK OF HELP in saving the lives of Americans trying to fight the Pandemic. Once again demonstrating the lack of priority for fair/honest/just government and CERTAINLY highlighting the disregard and dismissal of the common man and woman, with preference to the malicious machinations of madmen!
