The House will vote later Thursday on a major provision related to the Pentagon’s policy of reimbursing service members who must travel to receive abortions. That vote is expected to be so tight that even House GOP leaders aren’t predicting the outcome.
Lawmakers are also set to vote on conservative proposals that would gut Pentagon diversity and climate change efforts, limit medical care for transgender troops and slash Ukraine aid, all of which could hurt the chances for the annual National Defense Authorization Act to pass the full House.
