If the year 2023 was a movie, not just any movie, but a Blockbuster of Epic proportions kind of APOCOLYTIC MOVIE, by now, (the seventh month into the year, with only five more months to go), some hero would have stepped forward using any and all heroic attempts to save the day. Usually a he, because Hollywood still believes that only men can save the day, but he or she,(because we know that men and women can either save the day or at the same time do nothing at all), would have tried desperately to speak to the Congress, or the UN, or Foreign Governments, providing everyone with a life time’s scientific work, demonstrating that in fact way back when Corporations insisted that Tobacco was a lifesaver and that Fossil Fuels actually aided our environment, and that Safety Features in cars, just were too costly and cumbersome, THE ONLY PRIORITY FOR THOSE CORPORATIONS WAS NOTHING MORE THAN PROFIT!
The movie would then pan into the offices of CEOs who personally hired Professionals to pay off Politicians, with the darkest of dark money, and have their marketing department, pay off scientists to create made-up facts and figures showing that CLIMATE CHANGE is nothing more than a bunch of Progressive Socialists claiming, like Chicken Little, that “the sky is falling!”
As we speak, Republicans in Congress, in State Legislatures, still are insisting that the weather in 2023, is nothing but WEATHER, and we all know that their Jesus and his Dad created the world and that Dad and Son, only love us, and will never, ever harm us!
