No longer pretending, no longer filled with innuendo, no longer denying his intentions, TRUMP is invigorated, energized by the ease by which he has become a wanna-be dictator, a wanna-be king, and a wanna-be enemy of the state. He projects his every intended action and purpose. He is applauded by those whose own insecurities outweigh their securities, by the very wealthy whose greed has replaced responsibility to democracy, and by those whose own grifting priority is greed over good for anyone else but them.
Imagine almost anyone else in this nation who THREATENS the fabric of our democracy and justice in such precise and blatant terms, and imagine how the FBI or CIA would have brought them to some dark sight for interrogation. We can imagine, but none of that seems to matter as long as any crimes promised crimes against the fabric of this nation originate from TRUMP.
By now, those of us who watch or read horror stories have learned a few things that, when committed, seem so stupid and so obvious that we KNOW whenever a character participates in those activities, they will either be chopped in half by the psychopath, they will be abducted by the monster, or they, of course, will be the first to die. As we watch or read those stories, we hiss or boo or make that squiggly face using our “you idiot” eyes, understanding that there are better ways than that to live another day.
AND YET, here we are facing the CREATURE head-on, and too few are doing much to avoid a terrible foreseeable future. We should know which way to act, but as is too often the case, all we will end up doing is REACTING!
