Seeing is believing

Seeing is believing:

Donald Trump expressed frustration on Truth Social, stating that "it's too much work" to manage the demands of his presidency and social media presence. He often shares his thoughts late at night, reflecting his busy schedule and the challenges he faces. (The Independent)

Too much work, says the President of the United States. Then dude quit, there ain’t a whole lot of people who would be sad to see you go. I mean, it must be a whole lot of work to make up bull shit promises, lies, and having to ignore all of that. It must be even more work to invent a war and then have to think about what you just did! Or maybe just become a podcaster and forget your job as President.

Today, Tuesday, April 28, 2026, we had a photo op of the Royal Family from Great Britain, standing with the two people who think they are the Royal Family of America. But what caught my eye, (after watching Trump seem to sway and pivot, and almost lose his balance, or listening to this very demented man try to read a speech from a piece of paper right in front of his eyes), was the fact that standing next to the King of England and the King of America were their two “tricks” standing all in white. Melania and Camilla both have had affairs with married men, both having committed adulterous affairs, and now both are supposed to represent a high moral standard. And their now husbands both having done a fine job cheating on their ex-wives!

If you have not viewed any of the videos of fearful, terrorized participants running for cover, hiding under tables, or crawling on the floor to escape the ballroom during the White House Correspondents' Dinner, it is worth a watch.  There, we had ladies in high heels and ball gowns, men in tuxedos, all having to fend for their lives while dressed up. It must have been difficult… but was it as difficult as the kids in sneakers and T-shirts and teachers in casual clothing who had to duck and cover, hover in a corner or a dark room? I am still waiting to hear from anyone who had to go through the trauma of that night, print or write or blog about how terrifying it was for them, but how much more horrifying it must have been and still remains for the victims of each and every school shooting!
