“For the third time in less than two years, Trump found himself under the threat of gunfire. Hundreds of people — table after table — dove to the floor, reporters huddling next to Trump officials and other dinner guests, some draped by white linen tablecloths, others pressed up against the ballroom’s walls. (The Washington Post)
Three times, hmmm. One must wonder if, this time, it was real or a means by which the Trump Reich needed another reason to have the public look the other way, and stop looking at low polling numbers, the Epstein Files, The Trump/Iran War/the prices of groceries and gasoline/and the deterioration of both Trump’s mental and physical health.
Thankfully, this time, no other innocent people were killed, and it seems that the injuries were not life-threatening.
Of course, Trump posted a picture of the alleged shooter shirtless on the hotel’s kitchen floor. Good graphics to show the people that they arrested him. Lots of this and that floating around, from the fact that the suspect was a hotel guest, to the fact that he was out to harm as many members of the Trump Cabinet.
Hmm, one must wonder how this could have happened. I mean, almost the entire Trump Reich was to be in one place at one time, so where were all of the security systems in place by both the Secret Service and the FBI?
I remember, as a young child, being read the story of the Boy Who Cried Wolf, and wondering, not how many times a liar can get away with telling his falsehoods, but just how many times a person remains stupid enough to believe them. And then I remember thinking, when the lie is no longer a lie, and morphs into the truth, how can you ever be able to tell the difference the next time it happens!
