THE ENABLING ACT
The Enabling Act allowed the Reich government to issue laws without the consent of Germany’s parliament, laying the foundation for the complete Nazification of German society. The law was passed on March 23, 1933, and published the following day. Its full name was the “Law to Remedy the Distress of the People and the Reich.”
In Florida, a very Gerrymandered Banana Republic within the United States, the DeSantis Regime, with the permission of a very Gerrymandered Republican Legislature, has decided to Militarize the governance of this Banana Republic, permitting no one to question any ruling by and of DeSantis. Now it seems that anyone writing about DeSantis in a BLOG must PROVIDE PAPERS, as once was the law within Hitler's Germany. This first step is a prelude to the next steps of no longer having a FREEDOM of the PRESS within Florida.
Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party used intimidation and persecution to ensure the passage of the law. They prevented all 81 Communists and 26 of the 120 Social Democrats from taking their seats, detaining them in Nazi-controlled camps.
Now within the heavily Gerrymandered Legislature of Florida, the Republicans want to outlaw and criminalize the Democrat Party. Once this happens, who knows which Politicians other than the GOP will be permitted to remain in government.
German judges did not challenge the law. They viewed Hitler's government as legitimate and continued to regard themselves as state servants who owed him their allegiance and support.
NO ONE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA, within the purview of the very Gerrymandered Republican Party, can challenge either the Governor or the states Legislature’s choice of Racist/Homophobic/Xenophobic/Misogynist/Authoritarianist/Christian Nationalist AGENDA.
The Enabling Act became the cornerstone of Hitler's dictatorship. This form of an Enabling Act, IS the cornerstone of DeSantis’s dictatorship. It has been a horrible part of history, repeating itself in America!
