The reality is that Republicans are willing to live with school shootings so long as Americans are able to own high-powered semi-automatic killing machines. And if they have to pick between retaining that privilege and sparing children from violent death, they’ll pick the former. Rep. Ignore the Rapist. Criminalize the Drag Queens. Ban Books. Murder the Women who want custody over their Bodies. Refuse Health Care for the Trans. Insist that somehow the 2nd Amendment is the only Amendment written in the Constitution.
Pretend that Pro-Life is more about a Fetus in the womb, but never about the child attending school, or the movie theater, or a festival, or a parade, or going to church or synagogue! Offer empty “thoughts and prayers,” and insist that we need MORE PRAYERS to make this nation whole.
OH YEAH and become a REPUBLICAN POLITICIAN. Leave your morals, and values behind as you collect your blood money from the NRA or the Gun Manufacturers. AND somehow insist that your bull shit is of a religious nature, so it can never smell.
