The social studies teacher told CNN he was in the middle of a lesson when his smartboard alerted that the school was in a “hard lockdown.”
“In that instance, I knew something emergency-wise was about to happen,” Kreyenbuhl said. “I got everybody into a corner, turned off the lights, and just kind of held everyone nice and tight and just said, ‘Wait for everything to happen, everything to pass.’”
Kreyenbuhl said the school’s new alert system bought him critical time to prepare and protect his students before a shooter opened fire just down the hall from their classroom. (CNN)
Well, now, ain’t that something. At least the parents of school children who were able to kiss, hug, and welcome home their children after yet one more mass shooting at a school should praise the TECH Gods for this innovation.
Technology, teachers with guns, armed patrols, locked doors, and so many reasons to try and avoid death by assault weapons while in school. Wow, how excellent to have all of that and to AVOID the real issue as to why the fuck anyone but someone in the Military could or should or would have access to an ASSAULT WEAPON.
A person who may have the biological ability to have a child has no mental capabilities to parent that child. A troubled child remains able to receive the gift of an assault weapon because the only right that RIGHT-WING seems to care about is the Second Amendment. Once upon a time, Muskets were the murder weapon du jour, and now weapons for mass destruction have become the method of murder that Jesus prefers.
Defer, deny, and defend the fact that GUNS kill. People who purchase guns want to kill something or somebody. Politicians survive only because they receive money from an industry that profits when more and more guns are manufactured. But thank God for TECHNOLOGY!
