Chief Justice John Roberts described the rule of law as “endangered” and warned against “trashing the justices,” but speaking in Washington Monday he didn’t point fingers directly at President Donald Trump or his allies for publicly excoriating judges who’ve ruled against aspects of Trump’s agenda. DUDE, WTF, where on Earth have you been during your tenure as Chief Justice? I thought Alito and Thomas were genuine douchebags, but you have the audacity to says words like endangered. Your court permitted a Felon, a fraudster, a sexual harasser to stay out of jail, to pursue his wildest dreams of more grifting and criminal acts. Your court anointed him as some kind of king, above and beyond all standards of the law, and even above the US Constitution. And here you go pontificating about “trashing justices,’ when you and your court created the same monster with super powers to run amok.
