HE KNOWS. He also knows that as long as he feigns the ignorance of the Dictator he strives to be, the rest of us will wring our fingers, and declare that a Constitutional Crisis is on the way. (Have you noticed how a Constitutional Crisis is always on the way, when in actuality it is already here, and there ain’t too many people doing shit about it!)
No due process, FOR CITIZENS, because as Trump views his title as President, it is to be that of an Authoritarian. He wants all of the glory and glamour of the Presidency, and expects to be respected owning that title, but then decides at his own whim that all other responsibilities that come with the title that are inconvenient should be discarded.
He knows how to push a lie, fabricate a truth, and con a deal, and he knows right now that there are too few brave people who say they believe in the Constitution, who will stand up to him. “CHECKS AND BALANCES” have been dismantled, so in a way the question of “Don’t you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president?” has become moot for this monster, and he will push that point until he is stopped or he actually becomes the first Fascist Leader of the USA!
