At first, it might be easy to shrug one’s shoulders, sigh, and say Too bad they are celebrities and who cares, but to do so is giving permission for Trump’s quest for Fascism to roam free and become a cancerous tumor on our already tenuous democracy.
It has always been a tactic used by Fascist Dictators to attack the scientists, the educators, the media, and the arts, because to do so is to attack those in power. Once those in power are eliminated, then the conquest for the average citizen is a wham bam thank you ma’am easy target!
