Upon a Fence

To sit upon a fence, deciding the doubt or the doing. To contend with the possibilities or portend the potential dubious directions ahead. Sitting, thinking while the wind moves onward with nary a flutter of your own wings.  To sit upon a fence calmly or consumed with a worry filled with why not’s, or whether not.

Is it inaction or just the realization that whatever the activity, NOW is not the moment for the magic. If not NOW, when, and of course why?

To sit upon a fence is it just to position yourself to partake in pleasures ahead, or is it purposely to pout and pretend you actually don’t realize what comes next. To sit upon a fence, PERHAPS, it is JUST that…nothing at all until its time to fly away!
