A top Russian foreign ministry official threatened Sweden and Finland with “military and political consequences” if tried to join NATO.
Spokesperson Maria Zakharova made the comments in a press conference on Friday, on the second day of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“Finland and Sweden should not base their security on damaging the security of other countries and their accession to NATO can have detrimental consequences and face some military and political consequences,” she said. (Arctic Today)
I sit serenely and comfortable inside my home, no bombs blasting, no air raid sirens blaring, and no one from my family at harm's risk of dying as Putin’s plans to invade Ukraine is underway. I cannot imagine, the disarray and doom, the dismal destruction as the BULLY, Vladimir Putin, protected in his self-regulated throne inside some war room of the Kremlin play the role of every historical dictatorial bully from Stalin to Mussolini, Jung-un, and Hitler. Full of Machismo made from the billions he has stolen throughout his reign of terror, full of doubt as to his own self-esteem, knowing full well that to succeed as any authoritarian leader he first must play the part as Dictator, of course filling the endless pockets of supposed Communists whose first desire is to become Capitalists, to maintain power and control.
Finally, at least in my lifetime, I can witness the beginnings of resistance from the world leaders who once upon a time pretended that Putin wanted to be a part of the world order. As history lessons have provided us, to appease any maniac, who places his ego and male genitalia as a priority in their thinking and calculations (as was the case with the invasion of Poland and Czechoslovakia) will never result in anything but chaos. Men like Putin and his accolade Trump, are seldom told no. Isn’t it about time to BULLY THE BULLIES!
